How to Unlock and Play Pluey in Deltarune

Time to Take on a Secret Boss

After beating Chapter 4, players can go back to Castle Town and head inside the TV building right next to Top Bakery. Inside, head to the end of the corridor and interact with the door with ‘MIKE’ written on it.Enter Mike’s room code, 6453, when prompted to get inside.

Once in here, head to the very end of the corridor until you find a statue shaped like a cat with a pink hand on its head. If players choose to ‘Pet It,’ they can open up the way to another corridor. Heading to the end of this, players will find a pink mouse by another cat statue. Interact with the statue again and players will save the ‘Maus’ from the cat statue. In return for the player’s help, it’ll transform into a large hand that they can take control of.

Using the large hand, they can now interact with all the statues and other items in the two rooms. Returning to the first corridor with the large cat statue that couldn’t previously be interacted with, players need to use the Maus on it to remove it, as well as the other statues that block the path behind it. With this done, players can interact with a save point before heading through another set of doors with ‘Mike’ written on them.

This will then trigger the Motermouth Mike secret boss battle. The whole battle itself has several stages, including one where players need to pay close attention to a ‘Volume’ bar on the screen, another where they must pet away cats that appear on the screen with the Maus hand, and another that involves dodging cat paws.

What Is the Pluey Minigame?

Save the Cats

Pluey itself is a pretty simple minigame. It tasks players with grabbing cats from one side of the screen and placing them in the basket on the right while avoiding the raindrops. After a while, the cats will begin falling from the sky, making it more difficult to avoid the raindrops as things get more frantic.

Players have three lives, with each hit by a raindrop taking away one life. It’s a simple minigame, but a fun enough way to pass some time if players are looking for a way to stay in the world ofDeltarunethat little bit longer.
