How to Make Cobalt Paste
To get Cobalt Paste, you’ll need to mine Erythrite Crystals, which you can find inHagga Rift. Specifically, you need to go underground and explore the gigantic chasm created by CHOAM mining operations. You can find Erythrite nodes almost everywhere underground — this includes some Moisture Sealed Caves like Riftrun Passage and the enormous tunnels spanning the many CHOAM Mining Extraction Facilities in the Rift.
The CHOAM mining facilities arefull of crystal nodes, loot, and hostile NPCs. However, it is absolutely massive, and it’ll easily take players an hour’s worth of on-foot exploration in order to scour the chasm. If you want to enter the Hagga Rift, make sure tobring a Literjon full of water, or wear a Stillsuit so you don’t dehydrate to death.

Big NPC camps are great for extracting blood, but if you don’t want to build too close to their bases, you can try finding a spot close to a bed of flowers. Dew Extractors can harvest plenty of Water from plants, especially if you start harvesting a little bit past midnight.
Additionally, keep in mind thatall ore nodes respawn after a set duration. If you don’t want to delve into the Hagga Rift again, you’re able to try hitting the Moisture Caves on the surface for an easier time getting Erythrite Crystals.
