Each day has a set amount of time before the circle starts moving in and the Nightboss arrives, so you’ll need to make the most of your time and level up as fast as possible; here’s how to do so.
How Does Leveling Up Work In Elden Ring Nightreign
Leveling up inElden Ring Nightreignisstill done at a Site of Grace, which all appear on your map at the start of the game. The cost in runes per level will greatly increase with each level, and whenever you have the correct number of runes, a blue arrow will appear next to your level in the top left corner of the screen. Whenever you have the right amount of runes, interact with a Site of Grace to open up the level-up menu and select how many levels you want to increase.
Levels in Nightreign have predetermined stat increases, so instead of picking out how to invest your points, you simply level up. That being said, each level offers multiple stat point increases for each stat, making one level in Nightreign worth multiple levels in baseElden Ring.
How To Level Up Fast In Elden Ring Nightreign
Leveling up fast in Nightreign is all about speed and choosing your battles. While runes earned are shared, your best bet is tostay as a group so you may quickly take down enemies. Your main focus each day should be sprinting from location to location, taking out the enemies in that location, along with the boss. Enemies found in these map locations drop more runes, and aren’t much more difficult to kill, especially when you’re with your teammates.
There are lots of small groups of enemies you’ll find betweenmain map locations, and more often than not, these enemies will take a bit more time to fight and aren’t worth the runes, so it’s best to run past them.Bosses found in map locations offer large sums of runes, along with caches that will make you stronger in other ways.
There are also chances of getting rune acquisition boosters in these caches that stay in effect until the end of the expedition.
During the second day, much stronger enemies that appear as red monster icons will appear on the map. While these enemies drop a ton of runes, it’s not recommended you try to farm them, and maybe only try to take on one at the end of Day 2. Theamount of time it takes to fight these enemies at the start of the day isn’t worth the reward, as you’re able to clear two or even three map locations during that time.
you may also find Stonesword Keys from merchants, which can be used to open Evergoals found throughout the map. These bosses have ahigh chance of dropping Rune Acquisition boosts along with lump sums of 100,000 Runeson top of the runes for defeating the boss. It’s also not recommended that you spend runes at merchants for consumables, weapons, or weapon upgrades until the end of Day 2 to focus your runes on leveling up. As long as you’re constantly beating bosses, you’ll get a lot of this stuff naturally and oftentimes even better versions.
