Roosters, Hens, and Chicks are all included in the DLC as purchasable animals in Build/Buy mode. How to Hatch Chicken Eggs in The Sims 4
The Sims 4includes Gardening as a skill in its Base Game, but it wasn’t untilCottage Livingthat it got a more robust farming system. Players can fully immerse their farmer Sims by buying land and raising animals, including chickens.TS4chickens are treated as pets, so players don’t raise them for poultry, but rather tocollect their eggs. Hens produce eggs once a day, and players retrieve them byclicking on the chicken coop and picking “Collect Eggs"from the interaction menu.
Eggs can be sold, cooked, or hatched— if they are Hatchable, that is. Hatchable eggs are labeled, so players can easily tell the difference between them and unfertilized eggs.
Players canonly get Hatchable eggs if they own at least one pair of Roosters and Hens.

How to Use Cheats to Get Hatchable Chicken Eggs in The Sims 4
Chickens will only produce eggs if they are well-fed and their coops are kept clean and sanitary. Hatchable eggs are also spawned at random, so getting some can take time. Players usingthe Simple Living Lot Challengemay start to rely on their farm animals for sustenance.
How to Turn On Cheats
If they want chicken eggs quickly,players can use cheats to instantly spawn Hatchable eggsthat need to be incubated or are ready to hatch.To turn on cheats, pull up the command console by entering the following:
Then type"testingcheats on"and press Enter (or A/X for console), and it will confirm that cheats are enabled. Players canShift-click a chicken coop and create normal eggs, Hatchable eggs, and eggs ready to hatchimmediately.
