The Twin Ribbon is one of the best items you can get in the first two chapters ofDeltarune, but it requires a bit of work to get it. Not only does it require players getting an item from each of the first two chapters, but they also need to do one final step after completing most of Chapter 2 to get it. In this guide, I’ve explained why the Twin Ribbon is worth all the effort of getting it and the steps players need to take to add it to your collection inDeltarune.

How to Get the Twin Ribbon in Deltarune

There are three steps to getting the Twin Ribbon, the first of which requires players to get the White Ribbon during Chapter 1, the second is getting the Pink Ribbon in Chapter 2, and the third is fusing the two ribbons together at Top Bakery in Castle Town. I’ll guide you through each of these steps below.

How to Get the White Ribbon

The White Ribbon is inChapter 1and is easy enough to find. Once you’ve deactivated the spike trap on the floor in The Field using the clock, you’ll move into an area with a save point next to a sign.

Directly below this, you can see a red chest, which can be accessed by following the path down and then taking the left when you reach the crossroads. Open the chest and you’ll get the White Ribbon.

How to Get the Pink Ribbon

The Pink Ribbon is found inChapter 2in Cyber Citywhen you’re making your way to the Queen’s Mansion. Specifically, once you get past the first alleyway and the annoying mouse room, you’ll enter an area with two Ambyu-Lances moving around some traffic cones.

Head into the bottom left-hand corner of the section to find a hidden area (this is where Kris, Ralsei, and Susie are standing in the first screenshot above). Go in here, and you’ll find a chest with the Pink Ribbon inside.

How to Fuse the Pink and White Ribbons in Deltarune

With both ribbons equipped, you now need to return to Castle Town. This can only be done once you’ve completed the Queen’s Mansion and battled the queen. This will then cause your party to return to Hometown in the Light World, where you’re able to then freely revisit Castle Town.

When you do, head to Top Bakery, and talk to Malius, who will offer to fuse multiple items into one. Select both the White Ribbon and Pink Ribbon, and you’ll be given the Twin Ribbon in return.

Why Is the Twin Ribbon So Good in Deltarune?

A Double Buff, with a Downside from Chapter 3

When equipped to a character, the Twin Ribbon gives the wearer +3 defense and increases the graze area by 56.25%. While the defense buff is certainly welcome, it’s the increase in the graze area that is incredibly useful for quickly accumulating a ton of TP in battles.

With a larger graze area, you can essentially have the white soul a bit further away from enemy bullets and still trigger the graze effect. Not only does it help you quickly rack up TP, but it also reduces the enemy attack length. It’s worth noting, however, that the Twin Ribbon can’t be equipped to Susie, much like other ribbons in the game.

Also, from Chapter 3, the Twin Ribbon has a -25% TP gain debuff. While this does make it a little less OP for the remainder of your adventure, it’s still useful purely due to the increased graze area it grants.
