When another player attempts to destroy one of your buildings, if you have a shield, it will be consumed, and your landmark will be saved. Beyond their protective function, shields also have cosmetic variations called Shield skins. One such shield skin players can grab is theRailroad Xing Shield. The Railroad Xing Shield is a circular gold shield. It features a prominent black “X” shape across its face, reminiscent of a railroad crossing sign. There are two light bulbs on either side of the shield, sort of like the train’s headlights. This Railroad Xing shield brings theclassic railway esthetics toMonopoly GO, making it a rather distinctive cosmetic skin.
If you want to get theRailroad Xing Shield, you need to participate in theTycoon Expressevent. The shield is a reward for reachingSupreme Class (Level 5)in the currentTycoon Express season inMonopoly GO.
To get to Supreme Class, you’ll need to earn 100 Express Tokens to upgrade your cabin. You can earn Express Coins by participating indaily tournaments. Your performance in these tournaments determines how many Express Coins you receive. As a rule of thumb, higher placements on the tournament leaderboards reward players with more coins.
The availability of the Railroad Xing Shield, and other specific rewards, in the Tycoon Express event is subject to change with each new season inMonopoly GO. While it is currently obtainable as a reward in the Tycoon Express event, there is no guarantee it will be available in future seasons.
