One of the secrets you will find here while roaming Castle Town inDeltaruneChapter 4 is a closed door with the name Mike written on it. If you manage to unlock it, you will eventually find the Secret Boss Motormouth Mike. So, here’s a complete guide on how you can find and beat Motormouth Mike and the rewards you can get.
How To Find Motormouth Mike Secret Boss
You will find Motormouth Mike after unlocking andsolving the puzzles in Mike’s Room. So, head to Mike’s Room in Castle Town first. The door will be closed, so you’ll need a code to unlock it. Enter the number 6543, which opens the door to Mike’s Room. The code corresponds to the number pad on a phone, as you’re able to find 6=M, 4=I, 5=K, 3=E.
Enter Mike’s Room And Pet The Cat Statue
After you open the door, head inside. You will find aseries of statues looking the same. Keep going towards the left, and you will find a unique-looking statue. It has cat ears and whiskers.Interact with the statue and you’ll be able to pet it.
The statue will disappear, clearing the path for you. Go left again, and you’ll find a path upwards blocked by a tall cat statue. Ignore it for the time being, as you won’t be able to pet it, and continue towards the left.Go to the end of Mike’s Room, and you’ll see a similar statue that you had petted previously.
Get The Mouse Arm
You will also find a mouse at the feet of this statue that is terrified of the statue.Pet the statue and make it disappear. Thereafter, the mouse will transform into an extended arm and help you afterward.
Now, you may reach all the items that were beyond your reach with the help of this arm. Now go back to the tall cat statue that was blocking your path earlier.Pet the statues with the hand and they will disappear. So, the path will clear out, and you can proceed towards the end of this path.
Find the Motormouth Mike Secret Boss
Once you are at the end, you’ll find a crystal ball-shaped like a microphone and another door with Mike’s name on it. Open the door and you’ll go into a dark room. A dialogue will be triggered:“Hey, the heck are you doing in here?!”.
After a series of dialogues, Mike will appear saying, “There’s only one real Mike, and that’s me.” Thereafter, you’llenter a battle withMotormouth Mike, the secret boss.
How To Beat Motormouth Mike Secret Boss
You can beat the Motormouth Mike secret boss byunderstanding the unique gameplay of the battle. You will find a volume bar on the left side of the screen that will guide you on what to do in the fight.
Fight The Motormouth Mike
Whenever there is an applause round,the volume will go up to 100 percent, and you’ll need to stay up. Similarly, whenever the screen shows Shut Up, the volume will go to zero, and you’ll need to stay down. Whenever there is a Normal Volume on the screen, you’ll need tododge the microphones from both above and below.
Fight The Cat Mike
In the next part of the fight, another enemy looking like a cat will appear. Themouse arm will help you this time. Lots of cats will appear on your screen, whom you can pet with the mouse’s arm.
Fight The Bigmouth Mike
After you successfully pass this second round, you will meet Bigmouth Mike in battle. You will have to dodge cat paws in the fight this time. After you pet this Mike a few times,all three Mikes will appear at once, and you’ll have to fight them.
On your screen, a basket with kittens will appear, and you will have to use your mouse arm to bring the parent cat to this basket. This parent cat will have a unique blue color, and other cats on the screen will be white. After a while,the three mikes will merge together, and the final battle will start.
Fight The Merged Mike
After you pet the merged Mike a few times, the battle will end as thetwo enemies other than Motormouth Mike will flee. They will appear as different enemies, and a set of dialogues will be triggered.
Motormouth Mike will reveal that none of them are actually Mike, and they are just in charge of Mike’s Room. You will find out that Mike has never been here, and no one even knows who he is. After Motormouth says that it does not matter who Mike is, andit’ll work as long as everyone is Mike, all of them will exit the screen.
Rewards For Beating Motormouth Mike Secret Boss
While there isno particular reward to winning this fight, you will be able to play three fun minigames with each of the three Mikes afterward. You need to enter Mike’s Room once again and select whichminigame you want to play.
Mini Game
Pluey
Pick up the blue parent cats and bring them to the basket for their kittens. Dodge the falling white raindrops.
Jongler
Use the mouse arm to throw the cats on your screen into the red circle area.
Battat
Hit all the cats with your mouse arm as you continuously move towards the right. Bonus points if you hit green cats.
In the bottom right corner of your screen, you’ll find a black bomb icon called Michael Bomb.Use it to reset all your hit scores to zeroif you want to play the minigames again.
