Each classic game in theStalker Legends of the Zone Enhanced Editionbrings back the expansive map from the original release, updated with several graphical enhancements. Players will need to rely on their endurance to sprint from one location to another while following objectives. However, there’s an option to fast travel across major locations by hiring guides in settlements. While this isn’t going to be cheap, fast traveling is definitely a welcoming feature for players who prefer skipping the traveling part during missions.
How to Fast Travel in Stalker Legends of the Zone Trilogy
Players can fast travel in the classicStalkergames included inthe Stalker Legends of the Zone trilogyusing the guides service.Stalker Clear SkyandCall of Pripyatboth have NPCs that cantake players from one location/region to another for a fee, which is often a bit high. However, you’ll need to first locate the guide in each game before unlocking the fast travel functionality.
Although both previously mentioned games have guides for fast travel,Stalker Shadow of Chornobyldoes not. Players will have to rely on manually running from place to place in order to reach the next location in the objective.
Where to Find a Guide for Fast Travel in Stalker: Clear Sky
Once players reach the Clear Sky base after the game’s intro, they’ll meet up with the inhabitants of the base and familiarize themselves with the area. After embarking on your first mission, Scar will be knocked out by an emission and will be taken back to base. This will open up a new mission calledDefend the Camp: Fishing Hamlet.
After exiting the Clear Sky base, head to the mission location. You’ll also hear a lot of chatter on the radio from soldiers asking for assistance. Once you reach the location, make sure to carefully eliminate all the enemies storming the Fishing Hamlet POI. Once the threat is over, talk to Bogdan Player NPC, who’s standing beside a water well.Choosing the “Where can you lead me to?” dialog optionwill let you fast travel to places you’ve already explored.
Where to Find a Guide for Fast Travel in Stalker: Call of Pripyat
Similar to Clear Sky, players will have to find guides to travel across The Zone inStalker Call of Pripyat. The first guide you’ll encounter will be a pilot who will take players to theYaniv region for 3000 money. If this is expensive, players can head over to the Stingray 2 investigation site and recover maps from the helicopter. Now, head over to Skadovsk base and talk to Pilot, who’ll offer a discount, reducing the price of fast travel from 3000 to 1000.
Another type of guide can be encountered during thefirst mission of The Sultan, “The Hit.“This mission sends players to the Shevchenko ship at night, where they’ll have toteam up with other soldiers of the Sultanto take out a group of bandits.
Once the bandits are taken care of, head up to claim your reward from Lyonka Spade. Choosing “What are you up to?” followed by “I need to go some place, can you lead me there for a fee?” dialog options will let youfast travel to various POIs within the current regioninStalker Call of Pripyat.
