Crystal of Atlangives players manydifferent character classes to choose from. However, players have a limited number of character slots. While they are on the main menu, they may notice that there is no option to delete characters.
It is worth noting that in order to delete a character, players will need to take the character they wish to delete in-game and visit a specific bot NPC. They will also not free up the slot immediately, meaning they will not be able to make and use a new character right away. There are a lot ofelements that new players may not be aware of, so inspecting the map can be very beneficial.
How to Delete a Character in Crystal of Atlan
Players may create one character, then decide to change for abetter solo choice. Now they need to delete one. To delete a character, log into the game as the chosen character. Open up the map in a hub town and look for the Account Management bot. They can then track this NPC to create a guiding light that the player can then sprint to.
If there is no Account Management Bot in the player’s current area, they can find one in Lumiville.
Follow the guiding light to the NPC and interact with it to see the “Delete Character” option and select “Confirm.” This will cause the character to enter a 7-day protection period, and the player will be sent back to the character selection screen.
During this Protection Period, the character cannot be used.Once this period ends, the character will be deleted forever.
Can You Stop the Deletion of a Character in Crystal of Atlan?
Yes, players can stop their chosen character from being deleted at any time. While players will not be able to enter the game with a character in their Protection Period, they can log in with any other character to stop the deletion of that character. Head back to the Account Management Bot with any character and then select the “I regret it” option.
This will bring up the option to confirm the cancellation of the character deletion. Select “Confirm”, and the character will be removed from the Protection period. They can then be logged back in. Thismay seem a little convoluted, but this Protect Period is to ensure players don’t accidentally lose something precious to them.
If players have used up all of their character slots and wish to delete a character, they will have to wait for the 7-day Protect Period to end before they can create another character in that slot. Players can buy an extra character slot so that they can create their new character during this wait time.
It is for this reason that players should try to always have at least 1 free slot so that they can start on a new character at the same time as they begin the deletion of another one.
