Status Ailments are something players can use to their advantage as theycomplete the questsinBravely Default Flying Fairy HD. However, they are also at risk of being victims of these effects themselves. Party Members who are affected by Ailments take on temporary disadvantages.

What Are Status Ailments?
Status Ailments are placed on Party Members mainly during combat, but there are some environmental traps that cause them. Ailments are designed to limit, block, or harm Party Members, with some dealing automatic damage over time.
Players will need certain spells or items to cure Status Ailments. Items and potions can be picked up from chests, dropped by monsters, or purchased at shops in cities and towns. Spells are learned through the Mage andother magic-based Jobs.
Players can get items that nullify Status Ailments.
Monsters and enemy spell castersapply Poison, Silence, and Blind often. Damage-dealing ailments are among the most severe to manage, as they can cause a knockout (KO) if left untreated for too long. Here’s a complete list of all the Status Ailments, their effects, and their cures.
Nullifying Item
Berserk
Party Members who go Berserk get a 50% boost to Physical Attack damage, but attack enemies at random.
Charm
Affected characters will either heal a random enemy or attack an ally on their turn.
Confuse
Affected characters will attack an ally or enemy at random during their turn.
Doom
Add a counter over the affected party member. If Doom is left untreated, when the counter hits zero, they die.
Braves and Defaults are restricted from the affected target.
Love
Love connects two characters. They will use the same moves, take the same damage and Status Ailments.
Paralyze
Affected Party Members will be unable to move on random turns.
Poison
Affected Party Members take a small amount of damage on every turn.
Reflect
White, Black, and Time Magic are reflected back onto the opposing Party.
Affected Party Members fall asleep and can’t move.
