Back in March, LEGO announced that it’s starting a “multi-year journey” to build its own in-house video game development studio, and that it’s increasing its “investment in online play.” This news came just a month after industry insider Jason Schreier claimed thatTT Games has a new LEGO title in the worksthat’s slated to launch “either later this year or next year.”
LEGO VoyagersandLEGO Party!were both announced during Summer Game Fest, but neither one is being developed by TT Games or byLEGO’s new in-house studio. This means that even more LEGO video game projects are on the way, and the Nintendo Switch 2 will be the perfect home for them. The Switch 2’s vastly improved hardware means upcoming LEGO games will appear brighter and sharper than ever, and new features like GameChat will allow LEGO fans of all ages to converse with their friends while diving into the latest experience.
