Every console needs a good launch title or two, and that is exactly whatMario Kart Worldis for the Nintendo Switch 2. While the gameplay ofMario Kartremains, at its core, the same as it has always been since its debut on the Super Nintendo. But for the first time ever, Mario Kart World has an open-world element in the form of free roam mode.
Between all the collectibles you can find, missions you can complete, and tracks to race on with your friends, there is a lot to do in the latest entry intheMario Kartseries. But how long does it take to actually beat the game and roll the credits?

How Long to Beat Mario Kart World
Keep in mind that this initial number focuses exclusively on just beating every single cup available inMario Kart World. There are eight cups available in Grand Prix modewith the eighth unlockingupon successfully completing the other seven cups first. Below you will find a table of how long it took to beat each cup. Each race in a cup took anywhere from two and a half to three and a half minutes, but the time will vary depending on what CC you are playing on.

Added all together, it took one hour, forty-six minutes, and fifty-five seconds to beat all cups inMario Kart World. So, depending on the CC you are playing on and if you retried a cupto get three stars,it can take anywhere from a little under two hours to three plus hours to beatMario Kart World.
Bear in mind that this does not include the time it would take to get three stars on all cups on all CCs, complete every mission,unlock every character, or find every single Peach Medallion scattered throughout free roam mode. As such, beating Mario Kart World and collecting/unlocking everything will take significantly longer. If you are the type of player who looks to 100% a game, Mario Kart World will keep you pretty busy as you track down everything there is to find in free roam mode.
