The character made his debut during the Silver Chariot mission, where players encountered him alongside Tribbie on their way to Okhema. In terms of appearance, Phainon is a tall, white-haired character recognizable by his gold-accented trench coat and asymmetrical armor. He won’t be the only new addition to the roster, as HoYoverse also revealed two additional 5-star units: Saber and Archer.

As for the banner schedule, players can expect Phainon to be featured in the first phase ofHonkai: Star RailVersion 3.4, which is expected to drop around July 2. Previous leaks suggest that Phainon will follow the Path of Destruction and serve as a main DPS, which aligns with the path’s reputation for dealing high amounts of damage.
Saber and Archer will be part of a collaboration banner betweenHonkai: Star Railand theFate/Stay Nightfranchise. The crossover will focus onFate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works, a popular anime series released in 2014 that serves as a remake based on the original visual novel’s “Unlimited Blade Works” route. This event is expected to begin about a week after Version 3.4’s launch and run until the end of Version 3.6. The collab warp banner will have a separate pity count, meaning it won’t interfere with the regular limited banner.
