HoYoverse will roll out its first newbuffs for several ofHonkai: Star Rail’s older charactersduring Version 3.4, with Blade, Silver Wolf, Kafka, and Jingliu receiving boosts. The update will also add one new in-universe character toStar Rail’s roster, with Phainon finally making his playable debut after appearing prominently within the story of Amphoreus. A new update shared byHonkai: Star Railleaker Anon Leaks is teasingten different characters receiving re-runs during Version 3.4. The update’s first half is expected to feature the release of new character Phainon alongside three popular Harmony characters, with Tribbie, Sparkle, andSunday all expected to be available. The second half of Version 3.4 is said to include a re-run of Firefly alongside the four previously-mentioned characters receiving buffs within the update.Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 3.4 is currently expected to launch on July 2.

The multitude of re-runs banners during Version 3.4 will make ten different five-star characters available through the gacha system, including the new collab banner.Saber’s collab banner in Version 3.4was hinted by HoYoverse to be running longer than normal banners, potentially even beyond the conclusion of the update. The re-runs will notably also feature one character recently added to the game’s standard rotation of characters, with Blade available both through his banner and as an option for losing the 50/50.

Even before Version 3.4’s release,Honkai:Star Railfans already have plenty of exciting options to add to their in-game teams. The ongoing Version 3.3 made a fan-favorite member of Amphoreus' cast available to play, withHyacine joining the playable rosteras a Wind Remembrance healer with the update’s release.
