Honkai: Star Railhas revealed the date and time of its next Special Program focused on Version 3.4, teasing the content that the developers will address. Since the launch of its 3.0 cycle in January 2025,Honkai: Star Rail’s ambitious Amphoreus chapter has added several characters to the roster and the new playable path of Remembrance, which has greatly shaken up the meta.Honkai: Star Rail’s current bannersfeature two of the most powerful units in the game, Cipher and Aglaea. However, an arguably stronger character is coming in the 3.4 patch, as the fan-favorite Phainon was confirmed for release. While some leaks have hinted at his kit, players have been waiting for more official information about Phainon’s abilities. Fortunately for fans, HoYoverse has a new livestream in store dedicated to the character and more.
Honkai: Star Railhas announced its Version 3.4 Special Program for June 20 at 19:30 (UTC +8), confirming that the patch is titled “For the Sun’s Set to Die.” According to the official post, the livestream will reveal more details about Phainon’s playable kit. The developers will also share more information aboutHonkai: Star Rail’s crossover event withFate/Stay Night, titled “Unlimited Blade Works,” as well as its collaboration characters, Saber and Archer. Additionally, the broadcast will give players a preview of Amphoreus' next story chapter. Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.4 Special Program Schedule
HoYoverse previously confirmed the rarities and elements of all the new 3.4 characters. Phainon is a 5-Star Physical Destruction unit and will potentially debut during the patch’s first phase. Meanwhile, Saber is a 5-Star Wind Destruction character, and Archer is a 5-Star Quantum Hunt unit.Honkai: Star Railis giving away Archerto all players starting from July 11, and fans need only log into the game until Version 3.6 to claim him. However, Saber and Archer’s banners will be separate from the usual limited-character ones. The 3.4 livestream will likely shed more light on their availability.
