As a brief reminder,BloodLoopis set in the year 2191, where three factions compete for planetary dominance. To avoid destroying the world they seek to control, the stakeholders establish the titular BloodLoop, a virtual combat zone where their elite warriors engage in battle. At launch, BloodLoop will feature three modes, including Team Deathmatch, a 10-player format focused on direct combat. Then there’s Energy War, described as an objective-based experience that emphasizes tactical gameplay. The third mode, Free-for-All, is a merciless solo format where players compete individually. BloodLoop Is a Game First, Unobtrusive Blockchain Economy Second

Looking at the intersection of Web3 technologies and games, there have been multiple high-profileblockchain gaming failuresin recent times. What many of them had in common is that they were primarily concerned with pioneering tech applications, often treating the game itself as secondary, making it difficult to sustain player interest. Ragnarok is keen not to repeat such mistakes and promises thatBloodLoopis a fun game with tactical depth first and foremost, with its blockchain economy being entirely optional and unobtrusive.
