In a recent post on Reddit, DionAiko urged players not to hire Ziggy, as they claimed that the NPC followed them around taking the longest route, didn’t wield a weapon, and failed to offer any kind of meaningful support. It’s an unfortunate scenario, as hiring the NPC costs players800 gold inFortnite, which can take a while to accumulate so early in the season. VellyD said they experienced something similar, as Ziggy stood by and did nothing while they were being attacked by an enemy team, which ultimately resulted in them being eliminated.

Fortnite’s Ziggy Might Be Bugged

Others said thatZiggy is meant to be a medic inFortnite, offering healing whenever a teammate takes damage. A few fans claimed that Ziggy did heal them after they took damage, though he may have been slow to do so. While several people suggested that his role as a healer might explain why he doesn’t seem to carry a weapon, others stated that previous medics were also able to use guns in combat encounters. Fortniterecently nerfed its Bass Boost Hero Item, which allowed players to enhance their movement and take down structures with relative ease. The recent nerf drastically reduced the amount of environmental damage it deals, upsetting some gamers who enjoyed using the item to wipe out structures with a single attack. Others were happy about the change, as they felt it was a bit of a nuisance before the nerf. With a whole new season to enjoy and even more content on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future ofFortnite.
