Deadmau5 is the stage name of Joel Thomas Zimmerman, who is known for creating a wide variety of electro house titles, though he has also performed as a DJ and has collaborated with various techno artists. Deadmau5 is also known for performing while wearing a helmet, similar to the artists Daft Punk and Marshmello.
