However,Final Fantasy 14’s newest update has more than just combat-oriented activities for players to enjoy. Patch 7.25 alsoadded the next chapter to the fan-favorite Hildibrand quest chain, with players continuing their search for the missing inspector in the futuristic metropolis of Solution Nine.Final Fantasy 14’s 7.25 update also added the Mamool Ja allied society quests for Gatherers to use as a way to level up Miner, Botanist, or Fisher from level 90 to 100. However, unlocking the Mamool Ja societal quests requires completing the “Aiming High” and “Lost and Powerless” side quest chains in the jungles of Yak T’el. The newFinal Fantasy 14patch also made some slight adjustments to improve the area-of-effect (AoE) damage output of the Ninja, Bard, Machinist, and Summoner Jobs. PVE Job Changes

In Patch 7.25, we reviewed the balance of offensive capabilities within the DPS role during the AAC Cruiserweight M2 (Savage) phase in which multiple enemies spawn, and made adjustments to actions accordingly. For jobs exhibiting lower area of effect damage output, we have increased potencies and diminished or completely removed potency reductions when engaging multiple foes.

PVP Job Changes

Overall match tempo has improved following adjustments made to Guard in Patch 7.18 and area of effect attacks centered around the player in Patch 7.2.

Despite this, there is still a tendency for combat to reach a deadlock in higher tiers and during sophisticated team play.

To better enable individual players to break such deadlocks, we have made a number of adjustments to KO capabilities and area of effect attack potencies.

Furthermore, we have enhanced PvP role actions experiencing low usage rates in order to expand players' options on the battlefield.

Warrior

We adjusted Fell Cleave and the status Thrill of Battle to boost warrior’s durability and enable more consistent performance after executing their limit break, Primal Scream.

Dark Knight

We increased the potency of dark knight’s limit break, Eventide, to improve its offensive utility.

Gunbreaker

As gunbreaker’s usage and win rates are somewhat high compared to other tanks, we reduced the duration of the Heavy effect applied by Fated Brand in order to achieve a better balance.

Monk

After a series of incremental adjustments, monk now boasts stellar win rates, especially in higher tiers.

Considering the difficulty faced by opposing players, we have made adjustments to transfer the weight of monk’s offense from their limit break, Meteodrive, to Phantom Rush.

Samurai

To improve playability, we increased the barrier potency of Ogi Namikiri and Kaeshi: Namikiri.

Reaper

In order to boost reaper’s offensive capabilities, we have increased the potency of the area of effect attacks Communio and Perfectio.

Viper

In previous adjustments, we increased viper’s combat capabilities to match other melee DPS jobs. Given the improvements made to other jobs this time, we have adjusted Uncoiled Fury to more easily achieve KOs by ensuring its potency for the main target does not decrease, even if multiple targets are struck.

Bard

To supplement bard’s lower defense and support ease of movement, we added a new effect to the Warden’s Paean, increased the action’s effect duration, and reduced the recast time of Repelling Shot. Furthermore, we increased the potency of Harmonic Arrow to boost KO potential, as there was also room to improve bard’s offensive capabilities.

Machinist

We have increased the duration of Bioblaster and both the potency and barrier strength of Aether Mortar to facilitate aggressive offensive and defensive performance, especially near the tactical crystal.

Dancer

To address dancer’s generally underperforming offensive output, we have increased the potency of Starfall Dance, Saber Dance, and Dance of the Dawn.

Black Mage

As black mage’s limit break, Soul Resonance, has a limited impact on matches compared to other jobs, we have increased both its stacks and the potency of Flare Star and Frost Star.

Summoner

Following on from previous adjustments, we have enhanced actions relevant to two variations of limit break and adjusted the barrier potency of Radiant Aegis, thereby boosting summoner’s offensive and defensive capabilities.

Pictomancer

We have reduced recast times for each action to expand pictomancer’s options on the battlefield. Furthermore, to address the job’s somewhat lacking offense, we have increased the potency of two actions that require previous steps to execute, Mog of the Ages and Retribution of the Madeen.

White Mage

As white mage currently boasts high usage and win rates, we have adjusted the amount of damage absorbed by Protect, granted by Seraph Strike, to achieve a better balance with other healing jobs.

Sage

Sage’s limit break, Mesotes, is not performing as well as it once did, so we have increased Lype’s damage over time effect.

Crystalline Conflict

Season Fourteen will end, and Season Fifteen will begin.

When the season ends, the top 300 ranking players from the North American, European, and Japanese data centers, and the top 100 ranking players from the Oceanian data center will receive vouchers via the moogle delivery service.

Players finishing in the Bronze tier or higher can claim rewards by speaking with the Seasonal Quartermaster at the Wolves' Den Pier (X:4.9 Y:5.7).

Season Fifteen will be held on the Primal, Materia, Gaia, and Light data centers.

The following adjustments have been made to Borderland Ruins (Secure):
