In the comments, user TwentyFour7 shared a fan concept with baby forms for the Gen 1 creatures Lapras and Onix, named Lapi and Minix, respectively. Fans responded that they want more cute baby Pokemon for popular Gen 1 monsters like these. It’s not the first time players have shared fan concepts of baby Kanto Pokemon. One time, a fan createda baby form of Lickitung, while another created one for Vulpix.
Pokemon Fans Want Baby Forms for Doduo, Lapras, and More Early Pokemon
The comments also shared an adorable idea for a baby form of the Gen 3 Pokemon Tropius called Tropit. AutoGeneratedTitle’s post has over 570 upvotes, showing howPokemonfans still want new baby forms in future games. There areonly 19 baby Pokemonin total, with Toxel being the last one added inPokemon Sword and Shield. Interestingly enough, there was a ten-year gap without a new baby form before Toxel. Players thought that the trend was over and thatPokemon Scarlet and Violetwould add more pre-evos, but that wasn’t the case.
The Pokemon Company recently revealed thatPokemon Legends: Z-Ais releasing on October 16. There is also Pokemon Presents event scheduled for July 22, andPokemonfans can expect more details about the next game in the series. However, whileLegends: Z-Ais rumored to debut new Mega Evolutions, the addition of new baby Pokemon hasn’t been confirmed.
