The first is a non-aggressive Mirelurk, and the other isCaptain Raymond Clark, who will grant players access to their firstFishing Rodand Bait. Once they have talked to them both, it’s time to get fishing.
In case players have been wondering, the Fishing Rod doesn’t appear in the Pip Boy screen as an item, but it’s more like a tool that can be modified in the Tinkerer Workbench. So, there’s no need to equip the bait or the Fishing Rod, and fishing can be done automatically when approaching a body of water.
How To Fish In Fallout 76
To start fishing inFallout 76, approach any body of water and check if the fishing command appears next to the usual interface pop-ups: Drink /Fish/ Collect, then hold the button to draw the Fishing Rod and press A (PC) to toggle between baits and press E (PC) to cast the buoy. If players run out of bait, they can get more from the Mirelurk NPC. He sells 1 bait per 5 Caps, so a total of 500 caps for 100 Bait.
