10Longarm Tribe

A Race Of People Who Have Long Arms

As the name suggests, theLongarm Tribeare a race of people who have long arms. Unlike regular people, this race has two joints in their arms. As a result, their reach and range of motion far exceed that of ordinary human arms. Like most races in this list, the Longarm Tribe is relatively small, with only a handful of its members appearing on the global stage.

In the mural, the Longarm people are sailing towards the terrifying monster alongside humans and other races. They appear near the bottom left of the mural, alongside their close relatives, the Longleg Tribe, and humans from other major countries. The most famous member of this race is Scratchmen Apoo, the Captain of the On Air Pirates andone of the Eleven Supernovas.

9Longleg Tribe

A Race Of People Who Have Long Legs

The Longleg Tribeare a close relative of the Longarm Tribe, differing only in that they have long legs, as the name suggests, rather than long arms. Another key difference is their joints. Unlike the Longarms, the Longlegs have the same joints as people with regular legs. This means they will have a stronger kick with a much greater reach, but the overall movement is the same as that of regular people.

The Longleg Tribe appears at the bottom of the mural, right beside Franky’s left arm. Like everybody else in that area, they are also sailing towards the big, scary monster. The most famous Longleg inOne Pieceis Charlotte Smoothie, the daughter of the Big Mom Pirates' captain, Charlotte Linlin.

8Dwarves

A Race Of Small Yet Powerful People

Dwarvesare a race of people who have a body size that is significantly smaller than that of an average human child, both in terms of height and weight. The only dwarves ever shown in the story are the Tontatta Tribe from Dressrosa. They are small enough to fit in the palm of an adult human. They have tails like a squirrel, can move faster than most people can see, and are alsosignificantlystronger than the average adult human.

In the Mural, the Tontatta dwarves appear right behind the mermaid princess. They have their signature lance with them and are ready to charge toward the enemy. The most famous dwarf inOne Pieceis Leo, the leader of the Tonta Corps, the royal knights of the Tontatta Kingdom. After his meeting with Luffy, Leo and the Tonta Corps officially joined as the fifth ship of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.

7Mink Tribe

A Race Of Humanoid Animals

The Mink Tribeare a race of humanoid mammals that live on Zou, an island located on the back of a colossal ancient elephant called Zunesha. The Minks rarely venture outside their homeland. Add to that the fact that their homeland is constantly moving around the ocean, and it’s no wonder that most people in the world don’t even know about the existence of the Mink Tribe.

In the Mural, the Minks can be seen in two separate places. The first is right in front of the big enemy. The second one is near the top of the Mural, right behind the whale. Unlike the first depiction, however, the second image depicts a Mink in its Sulong form. The most famous members of this tribe are their former leaders,Inuarashi and Nekomamushi. They were part of the Nine Red Scabbards of the Wano Country. They followed Oden on his adventures and became temporary members of both the Whitebeard Pirates and the Roger Pirates. Nowadays, they serve as Daimyos in Wano.

6Mermaids

A Race Of Half-Human, Half-Fish People

Merfolk and Fish-Men are the two major aquatic races that live in the ocean inOne Piece. The female Merfolk are calledMermaids, while male Merfolk are called Mermen. Unlike the other minor races on this list, Merfolk and Fish-Men are often seen traveling or even living alongside humans. Some even manage to climb to a respectable spot in human society, such as Jinbe, who became a Warlord of the Sea.

Interestingly enough, the only one that can be seen in the Mural is a Mermaid. There are no Mermen or Fish-Men depicted, even though Fish-Men play a major part in the history of the world. The Mermaid in the Mural is likely the Mermaid princess, who hasthe ability to command the colossal Sea Kings. The current princess is also the most famous Mermaid in the world: Shirahoshi, the youngest daughter of King Neptune.

5Giants

A Race Of Super-Sized People

Giantsare the complete opposite of dwarves. They are a race of massive size, both in terms of height and weight. The average adult giant can easily reach the height of a massive tower. Needless to say, they are incredibly strong as well. Though not as common as Fish-Men, giants can also be seen living alongside humans. Some make a name for themselves as Pirates, while others serve the people as members of the Marines.

In the Mural, a giant can be seen leading the charge against the colossal monster. Considering they are known as a race of warriors, it makes sense for them to be the first ones to jump onto the battlefield. Due to their overwhelming strength, giants can easily tip the balance of power in favor of the side that they support. That’s why the World Government is currently trying to win the giants over to their side. The most famous giants have to be Dorry and Brogy, the co-captains ofthe legendary Giant Warrior Pirates.

4Ancient Giants

A Race Of Colossal Giants

Ancient Giantswere a race of giants that grew larger and stronger than regular giants. An average Ancient Giant could easily grow three times taller and bigger than an adult giant. Needless to say, they were also much more powerful. However, as the name suggests, this race has gone extinct. The last living member of this race was Oars Jr., who was killed during the Marineford War.

In the Mural, the Ancient Giant can be seen pointing its spear towards the enemy. The main enemy depicted in this mural is massive, but even then, the Ancient Giant is easily about half the size of that monster. That’s how massive the Ancient Giant was.The most famous Ancient Giant has to be Oars, who lost his life centuries before the start ofOne Piece. Although there are no longer true Ancient Giants in the world, there are giants who inherited the blood of the Ancient Giants, such as Loki from Elbaf.

3Lunarians

A Race Of Sky-Faring People

Lunariansare a race of winged people who can generate flame from their bodies. These unique innate abilities enabled them to pose a significant threat in combat. After all, they can commence attacks from both land and air. Unfortunately, this legendary race has largely become extinct, with only one Lunarian known to exist in modern times.

In the Mural, the Lunarians can be seen near the top, right between the Monster’s hand and the whale. They are charging from above, ready to attack the monster from the air.The only known Lunarian in this day and age is King, one of the top executives of the Beast Pirates. Just as mentioned in the legends, he indeed has a pair of wings and can generate fire out of nowhere.

2Birkans

A Visitor From The Moon

The Birkansare one of the three races of the Sky People, along with the Skypieans and the Shandorians. Their ancestors descended from the Moon and settled on Skypiea. While all three races are born with a pair of wings on their back, the Birkans have noticeably bigger wings, and they are also physically stronger than the Skypieans and Shandorians. Unlike the Lunarians, however, the Sky People can’t use their wings to soar through the sky.

In the Mural, the Birkans can be seen on the right side, not far from Franky’s right shoulder. It flies on top of a line of a fleeing group of humans and animals with the legendary ship “Noah” right beside it. The most famous Birkan isEnel, the self-proclaimed God of the Sky Island. After his defeat at the hands of the Straw Hats' Luffy, Enel left the planet and headed towards the birthplace of his ancestors: the Moon.

1Humans

The Most Common Race In The World

Althoughhumans, on average, are physically weaker than the other races on this list, they make up the majority of the planet’s population. That’s why humanity is always present at every major turning point in history, including the massive wars depicted in that Ancient Mural of Elbaf. Humans may live within the borders of different countries and kingdoms, but when the time comes, they will all fight together as one.

This is precisely what is seen in the Mural. Sailing right behind the Mermaid, the Giant, and the Minks are humans, hailing from various kingdoms. The most noticeable humans are the samurai and the ninja from Wano Country. One ship in particular bears the symbol of an ancient Kingdom that resemblesthe emblem of the Kingdom of Arabasta.Other than those two, most of the ships from humanity don’t have any clear details that can explain their origin. One thing’s for sure: humanity clearly plays a critical role in that war.
