Mountaintopmakes its entry as the secondShifting Earth Eventthat players will have to explore aftercompleting a few Expeditions. Similar to theMountaintopsinElden Ring, this location is a snow-covered highland filled withSnowfield TrollsandDemi-Humans.
As players climb the perilous slopes and try to reach the top, they will encounter far too many distractions and can potentially get lost, unable to find the blessing in time. This guide offers information on how players can reach the summit of the Mountaintop inElden Ring Nightreignand what they can expect to find once they’ve made the journey, battling the various Dragons.
How to Find the Secret of the Mountaintop In Elden Ring Nightreign
TheMountaintop is located in the northwest part of the map. At the base of the mountain, there is aSpiritspring that boosts you up to the snowy plainsof the Mountaintop. Alternatively, if your Night 1 circle closed at the southernmost part of the map, you cantake a Spectral Hawk, which should take you up to the Frozen Ruins, where you’re able to find multiple Ancient Hero of Zamur or the Albinauric Archers.
The Spiritspring is not the only way into the Mountaintop, as you can cross the chain on the east side to reach the location of theTroll, which will be the first boss-likeenemy that drops a Dormant Power. After dealing with the Troll, you can make short work of the camp up ahead or follow the path north to find multiple Demi-Humans on your way.
As you get closer to the chasm, you will find a Flying Dragon fighting a Snowfield Troll. You can help either boss in taking down the other, then deal with them toget the Runesand Dormant Power before you make your way further north. Hug the left wall to come across a few enemies, accompanied by the Demi-Human Swordmaster. This boss takes quite a lot of damage and stagger, so you should be able to make short work of it and can climb up the wall southwest to make your way to theMountaintop Ice Dragon.
Path From The Mountaintop Ice Dragon
As you approach the boss arena for theMountaintop Ice Dragon, a gush of chilling air will blow towards you, potentiallyinflicting you with Frostbite. Though you can fight the Dragon, it is recommended you ignore the boss and fight him after you acquire the blessing.Look towards the south to find a wall that you can climb and keep. There should be another climbable wall on the east, and once you are on top, look east to find the Blessing glowing in the distance.Interacting with the Blessing halves the Frostbite damage and buildupyou take, and alsoincreases your attack if Frostbite procs nearby.
With the blessing in your possession, you should ignore the location of the Dragon, as it will relocate towards its northeast location.
You can reach the location by crossing the chain and heading right after the Monstrous Dogs. After the Dragon has been dealt with, you can simply head down to where the final circle is andfind Snowfield Trolls on the left for some extra Runesbefore youface the Night 2 Boss.
