Elden Ring Nightreignrecently passed a huge milestone, seeing 3.5 million players check out the game in only 5 days. As part of a thank you to the ever-growing community of players, the official Elden Ring account gave fans a tease of what’s to come for Nightreign, confirming that new DLC will be releasing later in 2025, being gradually implemented over time. Later this month, the game will also be adding enhanced fights against existing Nightlords.

However, the biggest piece of the announcement for many will likely be the fact that a dedicated Duo Expeditions game mode will finally be added, allowing two players to go it alone. There’s also hope that Duo Expeditions will be balanced whenever it is finally added, something that initially plagued the solo game mode at launch. Specifically, FROMSoftware increased the amount of runes gained for solo players while also giving players the Automatic Revival Upon Defeat effect, allowing them to revive once per night during boss battles.
