They reached out to The Rock because they needed approval, and Johnson only had one comment. “Can you make me more ripped?” Johnson reportedly messaged him. “It actually seems like a silly one, but it actually was right, because I think we all in our mind have a romantic version of many people, and the costume itself wasn’t showing off his muscles,” McFarlane added.Johnson’sBlack Adamaction figure was 90% covered by his costume, so the buff body wasn’t obvious. Per McFarlane, even if he didn’t agree with the clients, he believed in the adage that “the client is always right” and wanted their approval, so he would make whatever changes they requested.
