Looking for Leaders is one of the first contracts that players can accept inDune: Awakening, and it involves raiding a hidden bandit marketplace in the Eastern Vermillius Gap and collecting recruitment materials to track down the Kirab leaders. Unlike some otherDune: Awakeningcontracts, this quest doesn’t have markers pointing players specifically to the objectives. Instead, you’ll have to pay close attention as you move throughout the hideout so you don’t miss any of the necessary items.

Unlocked after the Stealing from Thieves contract, Looking for Leaders is the second mission in the Payback quest chain. You’ll get some Solaris and XP for completing this contract, but the real reward is the unique weapon that you’ll get after finishing the entire Payback quest chain. Looking for Leaders is one of the most involved steps of the Payback storyline, but it’s not that difficult if you know where to find the recruitment papers in the stronghold.

Dune Awakening Suk Alusus

How to Find Suk Alusus in Dune: Awakening

The first step of Looking for Leaders is finding the bandit stronghold at Suk Alusus. It’s located in Eastern Vermillius Gap underneathMirzabah, the giant rock that the Fremen call the hammer. It sticks out like a sore thumb on the map compared to the other rock formations in the region, so it’s easy to spot.

There are multiple entrances into the thieves' marketplace. You can walk straight into the front door if you’d like, but you can also climb the cliffside and drop down from above. Either way works, and your targets are in the center of the marketplace so neither approach is faster than the other.

Dune Awakening Kirab Recruitment Ad 1

There are two Kirab recruitment ads to find in Suk Alusus. The first is located in a market stall on the second floor of the outpost. Look for a big room with a lowered middle section filled with market stalls and goods. You’ll find a long rolled-up piece of paper at a stall on the southern side.

To find the second Kirab recruitment ad, head south from there and go down the stairs. There’s another rolled-up piece of paper sitting at the corner of a market stall near a fireplace. Once you’ve read both of the recruitment ads, you can contact the contract issuer to complete the quest and claim your rewards. The next step of the Payback quest chain, Dropping Drot, will begin automatically after that. There are even more bandits to dispatch in this contract, so make sure you’re prepared with thebestDune: Awakeningweapons and armor.
