After completing the First Trial of Aql inDune: Awakening, players will be tasked with locating a Moisture Sealed Cave in order to obtain Micro-Sandwich Fibers and EMF Generators. However, there are no quest markers to show the way. Players may have already found multiple Moisture Sealed Caves before this point, but since the game doesn’t indicate that they’re special in any way, or that the items inside will be needed for a quest later on, they’ll likely be unmarked on the map and items may even have beenleft back at base.

Traversal across the desert is time-consuming, and it’s a much better idea to look for caves that are in the same clusters of rocks as where the Trial takes place. Even when players are lucky and do find a Moisture Sealed Cave during the quest, one cave might not be enough to complete the objective. Fortunately, there are two Moisture Sealed Caves very close to the Trial location, but since they’re hidden, they’re easy to miss. Here are the locations.
Moisture Sealed Cave Location in Hagga Basin South
In Dune: Awakening, Moisture Sealed Caves are indicated by an orange cave map marker on the map. There are two Moisture Sealed Caves in close proximity to the First Trial of Aql, in the southeastern section of the Hagga Basin South.
Defeat the Scavengers inside, drain their blood, and look for chests to obtainFremen Componentsto progress the quest.
How to Find Fremen Components in Moisture Sealed Caves
In Echoes of the Past, the target is to acquire6x Micro-Sandwich Fiberand1x EMF Generator. Once you’re inside a Moisture Sealed Cave, you’ll find these items in large chests scattered throughout the cave. Due to the debris and random assortment of items that litter a cave, however, it can be easy to overlook chests. Look for the telltale neon blue glow to identify chests. It can be a bit hard to spot sometimes, but it’s the only sign the game gives you.
Additionally, every time you cut the seal of a Moisture Sealed Cave, you’ll automatically obtain2x Micro-Sandwich Fibers. If the cave has two entrances, both sealed, this means you’ll be more than halfway done with the quest objective just by those alone.
Players may also find a Literjon in one of the chests. Literjons are used tostore water made from Blood Purifiers. Be sure to fill them up when you get back to base.
