Tanjiro Vs. Akaza Will Be One Of The Major Highlights OfDemon Slayer: Infinity Castle

He Won’t Be The Only One To Fight Against Akaza, Though

TheDemon SlayerHashira Trainingarcended with all the Hashiras, including Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu, being summoned into the Infinity Castle.Kagaya Ubuyashikisacrificed not only himself but his family to land a lethal strike on Muzan. However,it will take more than that to kill the Demon King. In fact, before being able to confront Muzan, Tanjiro andthe others will have to face the Twelve Kizuki, who are waiting for humanity’s warriors in the Infinity Castle.

Ufotable confirmed that theDemon Slayer Infinity Castlearc from the manga series will besplit into three movies. The three movies will feature different battles, and for sure, each battle will be a spectacle like no other. The first movie, for instance, might featureZenitsu exchanging blows with Upper Rank Twelve, and we might also see Shinobu Kocho, the Insect Hashira, going against Doma. However, the community is looking forward to one particular battle that will be the major highlight of the first movie — it’sthe ultimate battle between Tanjiro and the Upper Rank Three, Akaza.

Rengoku didn’t lose! He didn’t let anybody die! He fought to the end! He protected them to the end! You’re the one who lost! It’s Rengoku who won - Tanjiro.

While Tanjiro wants to killeverydemon on Earth, heholds a special grudge against Akaza. Akaza was the one whobrutally killed Rengokuin front of Tanjiro and his friends, and ever since then, the boy has worked hard to get strong enough to avenge Rengoku. Tanjiro will finally get that opportunity since Akaza will be one of the first demons the boy will face upon enteringInfinity Castle.

Interestingly,Tanjiro won’t be the only one in line to fight Akaza, as the Water Hashira, Giyu, will also join in. Up until this point in the story, we haven’t really seen Giyu’s full potential as Water Hashira, so it would definitely be interesting to see him fight the Upper Rank Three. Also, let’s not forget that it was Giyu who spared Nezuko’s life and compelled Tanjiro to join the Demon Corps. In a sense, the story ofTanjiro and Giyu will come full circleas they team up to avenge the Hashira they both admired.

The Ultimate Opportunity For Tanjiro To Avenge Rengoku’s Death

The Young Hashira Will Finally Get Closure After The Mugen Train Incident

Akaza is one of the strongest demonsin the story, the one that sent shivers down Tanjiro’s spine when he first appeared. If not for Rengoku,Akaza would have killed Tanjiro in a single strike. Fortunately, though, theFlame Hashira not only prevented Akaza from harming Tanjirobut also surprised the Upper Rank Three with his sheer will. Akaza was so impressed with Rengoku that he wanted the Hashira to become a demon as well. However, Rengoku took pride in the imperfections that he had as a human, so he declined the offer.

Rengoku was strong, but not as strong as Akaza. The Flame Hashira met his dark fate, but he was at peace knowing that Tanjiro and the other humans were safe. Tanjiro, on the other hand, had no choice but to see Rengoku getting killed. At the time,Tanjiro couldn’t even move a muscle against Akazabecause of all the injuries he sustained. However, the major reason why Tanjiro didn’t fight against Akaza was that he couldn’t. Ever since then, Tanjiro has taken extensive training under the Hashiras, and now, he is more than capable of not only defeating Akaza but also going against the Demon King. The good thing is that Tanjiro won’t have to take the final fight alone; he will have his Inosuke, Zenitsu, and other Hashiras fighting by his side against Muzan and the Twelve Kizuki.
