Sacrificed Himself To Save His Friend
Sabitowas a loyal friend to the very end, saving Giyu during the Final Selection arc. His death left Giyu with crippling guilt, and he doubted his position as a Hashira when he believed that Sabito’s bravery would’ve made him better suited to the role.
His fate may have been unfair, but Tanjiro was right to make it clear that Giyu didn’t need to wallow in guilt. Instead, he should fight for his friend and prevent others from sharing the same fate. This roused Giyu from his melancholy as he swore to fight hard for Sabito’s sake.

While it’s true thatGenyaneeded to resort to some morally gray methods to attain strength and take on powerful demons, that shouldn’t disqualify him from his brother’s love. Instead, he fights for Sanemi’s approval every step of the way, only to be rebuked.
Ultimately, in his quest to attain his brother’s approval,he sacrifices his life to save him. It’s a moment that humanized both characters, leading to an emotional farewell as Genya’s life was prematurely snuffed out.

Losing His Father Figure Was Tough
Zenitsu’sbond with his sensei was deeper than fans expected. This character was well and truly heartbroken after learning of his sensei’s demise. The cause of his death moved him even further, spurring him to avenge his sensei by taking on Kaigaku and punishing him for betraying humanity.
Despite his cowardice, Jigoro never stopped believing in Zenitsu and realized just how deep his talent was. This was one of the few things that drove Zenitsu to become a Demon Slayer, and to have it all snatched away from him cruelly wasn’t fair.

Kagayaharboreda deep-rooted hatred for Muzan. His presence is the very reason why his clan is cursed, and he swore to defeat this demon by any means necessary.
The Ubuyashiki family was okay with springing a trap on Muzan if it meant that this heinous demon would finally breathe his last. They should’ve lived and enjoyed a happy life together, but lost it all in a desperate and ultimately ill-advised bid to take out Muzan once and for all.

Losing Her Family And Being Turned Into A Demon A Cruel Twist Of Fate
Nezuko’sstory is a tragic one. She lost her family to Muzan’s attack and was turned into a demon by this villain. She initially tried to attack Tanjiro but eventually regained her senses and displayed a protective attitude towards her elder brother.
She didn’t deserve to have her happiness uprooted by demons, but fans are glad to see her showing signs of sentience as she fights for the side of humanity. For all the sadness that has befallen her, fans are glad to see that fortune finally smiled on her when it was revealed that, unlike other demons, she could stay in the sun without being burned.
