Deltaruneis a popular story-based adventure game where you explore the secrets of a mysterious world with your companions. Chapter 4 has been added in the latest update, which has lots of secrets waiting for you to find out.
One such secret is the alternate storyline called the Weird Route, which continues from the Snowgrave Route in Chapter 2. So, here is a detailed guide on how to play the Weird Route in Chapter 4Deltaruneand what choices to make.
How To Start The Weird Route In Chapter 4
To start the Weird Route, you have to load your save file from Chapter 2, where you havegot the Snowgrave ending. Then, play Chapter 3 normally, since there is no alternate route for it. Once you proceed to Chapter 4, you may start the Weird Route. So follow the steps below tosetup the Weird RouteinDeltaruneChapter 4.
Get The Snowgrave Ending In Chapter 2
You can get thesnowgrave ending by making Noelle use her IceShock spell often in Chapter 2. This will cause her to act more dangerously. Now, you can fight enemies uniquely and decide on specific dialogue choices.
Eventually, you’ll have to buy the Thorn Ring and give it to Noellebefore the Berdley fight. Thereafter, Noelle will get access to a new spell called Snowgrave. Using the Snowgrave spell will change the chapter’s ending and final boss as well.
Play Normally Through Chapter 3
Once you have reached the Snowgrave ending in Chapter 2,load your save file in the next chapter and continue normally. There is nothing different in Chapter 3, and you may play it normally without any alternate ending.
Continue Playing Chapter 4
Continue with Chapter 4 from the save file, and you’ll start the Weird route in Chapter 4. Enemies and characters will interact differently with you after you progress further in this chapter.You need to head to Noelle’s house to start the Weird Route cutscene.

What Choices To Make In Weird Route In Chapter 4
You’ll need to make specific dialogue choices in the Weird Route of Chapter 4. Once you are atNoelle’s home, head over to her room in the upper floor.Next, investigate the guitar. Kris will fall and drop to the ground. You will drop to the ground and pull out your soul. Noelle will call out to Kris, and they will put their soul into a drawer.
Go To Noelle’s Room
After Noelle invites you to talk,Kris will put their soul into a gift box and then follow her into her room.You can now control the soul. Push aside the large gift box and enter the air vents. Keep heading straight and then, turn left.
You will watch from the vents asNoelle tells Kris about her dream. The soul will appear inside the room once Noelle says, “Kris, can I… say something else?”. You have toguide the soul back to Kris and choose specific dialogue options.
Talk To Noelle and Choose Dialogue Options As Kris’ Soul
When Noelle asks who is going to hear them,choose “Me”.This will cause Noelle to become terrified that someone is hearing her thoughts.Choose “I heard”.She will test you by asking questions, andyou can choose any option here.
After this, Noelle will accuse you of lying, and you need to choose the option of Noelle becoming stronger.Keep picking “Equip” and “Proceed.”After the dialogue sequence ends, Kris will get angry and head to the bathroom.They’ll take out their soul, throw it in the trash can, and kick repeatedly.
Afterward, you will go to church with your companions. Ralsei will ask you what Susie might be praying about.Choose “Seems unnecessary”.Ralsei will then ask you to close your eyes.You need to choose “Don’t” here.
He will say that you’re able to think of someone else. Then, you’ll need tochoose “Think of Noelle”. A det dot representing Noelle’s soul will appear on the screen and say Thank You to you. At the end of Chapter 4, you will see Kris lying down on bed andtheir soul locked inside a cage.
