Developer Bend Studio and publisher Sony have unveiled a new update forDays Gone Remastered. This fresh update will be available forDays Gone Remasteredon the PlayStation 5 shortly, and it’s currently downloadable for the PC version ofDays Gone.
Set in a post-apocalyptic version of Oregon two years after the start of a zombie outbreak,Days Gonewas originally released for the PS4 in 2019. The game was ported to PC in 2021, and it recently received a new version,Days Gone Remastered, for the PS5. The new version comes with improved graphics and new accessibility features, like picking one out of 11 subtitle colors, fully customizable High Contrast Mode, and more. WhileDays Gone Remasteredwas not released for PC, theoriginalDays Gonereceived a graphic updateduring the remaster’s release.
Now, Bend Studio has unveiled two new updates forDays Gone.Days Gone’s 1.10 update for PC is already available, and it fixes various issues with performance and some problems with the audio of the open-world zombie game. Also,the recentDays Gone: Horde AssaultDLChas been slightly tweaked to fix horde navigation issues in some areas, and its UI has been improved. Other changes include localization updates and a few tweaks to gameplay, like reducing the player’s strength of resistance while riding the bike.
Patch 1.025.809 for the PS5 version ofDays Gone Remastered, however, was announced but has not yet been released. This patch will be similar to the PC update, as it will improve the game’s graphics and performance, fixing some issues that caused crashes previously. According to the developers, it’ll also improve the performance on the PS5 Pro, and some of the other tweaks present in the PC update, such as improving the UI ofHorde Assault.
These patches come on the heels of therecent May 2025 update forDays Gone Remastered. This update added a new Balanced visual mode toDays Gone Remastered, which ensured decent smoothness with higher visual fidelity, improved the performance, and fixed crashes, improving the overall experience.
It’s good to see Bend Studio continuing to improveDays Gone. Unfortunately,Bend Studio canceled a game as a service project earlier this year, which was rumored to be a military shooter. So, it may be a while before gamers will finally be able to play an entirely new game made by the studio. In the meantime, it’s likely that these updates will keep the fanbase engaged.
