Crunchyrollannounced on Wednesday that the second season of the anime adaptation of TurtleMe and Fuyuki23’s hit fantasy light novel series,The Beginning After the End (TBATE). Crunchyroll further revealed that the second season ofThe Beginning After The Endwill be released next Spring, with a brand-new exclusive post-credits scene from the upcoming finale of the first season previewing main character Arthur Leywin’s new appearance ahead of season 2.
The final episode of The Beginning After the End season 1 is set to broadcast next Wednesday, June 18 at 10:25 a.m. PT / 1:25 p.m. ET, but the clip that previews his new look in season 2 has been made available to view on Crunchyroll’s official YouTube Channel.
I’m excited for viewers to see more of Arthur’s journey on screen with Season 2! It’s been an eye-opening experience being part of such a large endeavor with Crunchyroll, Tapas, and A-Cat. Arthur retains the wisdom from his previous life as King Grey, and sets out on an adventure to learn the ins and outs of magic while seeking to correct the mistakes he made in his past life.
