At Anime Expo 2025, Crunchyroll will have a booth where fans will be able to experience a first look at several upcoming titles set to hit the platform over the course of the coming months. The first of the new announcements includeLet’s Play—the gaming-themed webcomicwith over 700 million total views on WEBTOON, andOtherworldly Munchkin: Let’s Speedrun the Dungeon with Only 1 HP!—a new comedic isekai series. Let’s Play is based on the webcomic created by Leeanne M. Krecic, which has been on hiatus since September 2022, and had the initial announcement of its anime adaptation announced at New York Comic Con in 2023.

The Crunchyroll stage at Anime Expo 2025 will have at least 10 premiere screenings, with extended looks at the upcoming fantasy anime, Clevatess, and David Production’s first-ever original anime,Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse. On Thursday, July 3, fans will also be getting sneak peeks at upcoming Summer 2025 anime titles, likeThe Rising of the Shield Heroseason 4, with Kaito Ishikawa, voice of Naofumi set to attend, while a special premiere ofSolo Camping For Twofeaturing voice actors Daiki Hamano and Mizuki Niizaki.

One of the biggest events from Crunchyroll on that first day of the proceedings is definitely the reveal of the anime adaptation of Leeanne M. Krecic’sLet’s Playwebcomic. Friday, July 4 will see the centering of twoCrunchyroll Anime of the Year Awardnominees in the form ofFrieren: Beyond Journey’s End, andThe Apothecary Diaries, with voice actors Seto Asami and Yuki Aoi in attendance.
