Crunchyrollhas just announced an absolutely stacked line-up for their appearance at the upcoming Anime Expo 2025, which is set to take place in Los Angeles from July 3–6. Among the biggest announcements of the line-up are the reveal of the first teaser trailer of the anime adaptation of Mongie’sLet’s PlayWEBTOON, and various panels for titles likeFrieren: Beyond Journey’s End,Kaiju No. 8,the upcoming anime adaptation ofGachiakuta, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle.

New Crunchyroll Acquisitions Coming to Anime Expo 2025

At Anime Expo 2025, Crunchyroll will have a booth where fans will be able to experience a first look at several upcoming titles set to hit the platform over the course of the coming months. The first of the new announcements includeLet’s Play—the gaming-themed webcomicwith over 700 million total views on WEBTOON, andOtherworldly Munchkin: Let’s Speedrun the Dungeon with Only 1 HP!—a new comedic isekai series. Let’s Play is based on the webcomic created by Leeanne M. Krecic, which has been on hiatus since September 2022, and had the initial announcement of its anime adaptation announced at New York Comic Con in 2023.

Exclusive Announcements and World Premieres Galore
The Crunchyroll stage at Anime Expo 2025 will have at least 10 premiere screenings, with extended looks at the upcoming fantasy anime, Clevatess, and David Production’s first-ever original anime,Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse. On Thursday, July 3, fans will also be getting sneak peeks at upcoming Summer 2025 anime titles, likeThe Rising of the Shield Heroseason 4, with Kaito Ishikawa, voice of Naofumi set to attend, while a special premiere ofSolo Camping For Twofeaturing voice actors Daiki Hamano and Mizuki Niizaki.
One of the biggest events from Crunchyroll on that first day of the proceedings is definitely the reveal of the anime adaptation of Leeanne M. Krecic’sLet’s Playwebcomic. Friday, July 4 will see the centering of twoCrunchyroll Anime of the Year Awardnominees in the form ofFrieren: Beyond Journey’s End, andThe Apothecary Diaries, with voice actors Seto Asami and Yuki Aoi in attendance. Saturday, July 5, the day of the Crunchyroll Industry Panel,Dr. Stone: Science Futurepremieres the first episode in its second cour, withthe Japanese voices of Senku Ishigami(Yusuke Kobayashi) and Dr. Xeno (Kenji Nojima) set to appear at the event.
On Sunday, July 6th, in the most literal fashion, Crunchyroll saves the biggest for last, with the Kaiju No. 8 panel, while anime legend Megumi Ogata (voice of Hanako-kun) will be there as fans peer behind the veil ofToilet-Bound Hanako-kun, with a sneak peek at an upcoming episode of the anime. Over at booth #2526, Crunchyroll will have one of its most immersive anime experiences ever. Step intoDemon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle—coming to theaters on September 12; as well asGachiakuta—streaming on Crunchyroll this July. The Crunchyroll Store, will be set up over at booth #2135, with over 30 exclusive items, includingKaiju No. 8Youtooz Vinyl Figure (Glow in the Dark Ver.) and exclusive apparel from series likeFrieren: Beyond Journey’s EndandShangri-La Frontier.
