With the release ofFBC: Firebreakapproaching, Remedy Entertainment has published the official PC system requirements, which are divided into four performance tiers: Minimum, Recommended, High, and High Ray Tracing. At the Minimum level, the game uses low graphics presets and upscaling set to Quality to hit a target of 1080p at 60 FPS. It requires an NVIDIA GTX 1070 or AMD RX 5600 XT with 6GB of VRAM, an Intel Core i5-7600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X, and 16 GB of RAM. These minimum requirements are relatively modest for a 2025 release, especially given the currenthardware landscape that includes the RTX 50 series.

The Recommended setup is aimed at 1440p resolution at 60 FPS with medium graphics settings, needing a stronger GPU like the RTX 3060 or RX 6600 XT and at least 8GB of VRAM. For players looking for enhanced visual quality, the High and High Ray Tracing presets support 4K at 60 FPS with upscaling set to Performance. These tiers require more powerful components: an RTX 3070 or RX 6800 XT for High settings, and an RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XT for High Ray Tracing, with 8 GB and 10 GB of VRAM, respectively. The required CPU also scales accordingly, with options like the Intel Core i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600 recommended for the top tier. Remedy also notes that broadband internet access will be necessary to playFBC: Firebreakon PC when it launches on June 17.

As players await the release, the game director recently shared that the game draws some design inspiration fromOvercooked.
