Because of its toy-like design, many fans have asked Sandfall Interactive for official Esquie merchandise. One fan took matters into their own hand and created an Esquie plush by hand.
Reddit user Odd-Swimming-2189 shared a picture of their hand-crafted Esquie plush. According to the fan, the project took around two weeks to complete, but the efforts fortunately paid off. They also shared their process in previous posts, revealing how they built an Esquie mannequin before drawing the pattern and sewing the body. They also crocheted and hand-painted the head elements. It is worth noting that this Esquie isn’t based on the huge, talking companion from Lumiere, but instead on the small Esquie plush found inone ofClair Obscur’s endings. Odd-Swimming-2189’s post has surpassed nine thousand upvotes, and fellow fans have complimented their attention to detail.

Fortunately for fans, Sandfall Interactive has confirmed thatClair Obscuris releasing official Esquie plushies. It remains to be seen whether these Esquie collectibles will be based on his powerful version or his toy one. The developers also warned players that many third-party sellers are taking advantage of Esquie’s popularity and attempting to scam fans with fake Esquie plushies. Hopefully for fans, the official toys will arrive sooner rather than later.
