Clair Obscur: Expedition 33is a French-developed RPG that’s heavily inspired by some of the most iconic JRPG series, likeFinal FantasyandPersona. Not only isClair Obscurone of the highest-reviewed games of the year so far, but it’s managed tosell millions of copies in mere weeks, becoming a hit for the studio, Sandfall Interactive.
Although the game is fairly linear, funneling you towards your next major story beat, there’s a ton of different things to find that’ll prove useful for your journey. Not only will you find hundreds ofequippable accessories called Pictos, but you’ll find dozens of weapons for each playable character, music records to listen to at Camp, journals from past expeditioners, and much more.
