Summary

Boruto: Two Blue Vortexis incredibly exciting at the moment, especially since the battles against the Shinju have finally begun. Fans are incredibly excited to see the major battles develop over the course of the next few months. Not only will these battles give the fans exciting action, but they’ll also go on to change the fate of the world itself, especially Konoha, who arethe most affected by the Shinjudebacle.

Undoubtedly, Konoha’s Hokage problem will come into the picture one more time, and Kishimoto might just have chosen the perfect person to assume this role. The next Hokage might be one that Kishimoto previously teased wanted the position.

Why Konoha Might Need A New Hokage

Konoha getting a new Hokage after Naruto is a no-brainer. While fans got to see Shikamaru in the position of Hokage recently, it was later confirmed that he only held the position on an interim basis. Shikamaru isn’t the official 8th Hokage, even though he’s been there for a while now, and he doesn’t intend for Konoha to get another Hokage either.

You cannot evade the responsibility of becoming the Seventh Hokage forever, Shikamaru! — The Elders of Konoha

But, at the same time, the author made sure to highlight the fact that the daimyo and the elders won’t wait around forever for a new Hokage to appear. Logically speaking, Konoha not having a proper leader is, understandably, seen as instability by other villages. Naturally, they want the village to have a good leader at the helm, regardless of what Shikamaru wants to do.

At this point, it is already clearthat Shikamaru Nara is way too weak to be the Hokageof the village. More than that, he doesn’t even want to be the permanent Hokage. If Kishimoto wanted to make him the Hokage, he would’ve taken this position already, but he hasn’t. This indicates that there are plans for someone else to come and take this position in the future of the story.

Sarada Is Too Young

Of course, whenever the topic did Hokage candidates comes up, Sarada Uchiha is almost always a frontrunner. Fans know for a factthat Sarada Uchiha is an extremely important figurein the world ofBoruto, and that he’s destined to be the Hokage of the village. However, Sarada won’t be the Hokage anytime soon. She certainly does have remarkable strength, but she’s definitely too young to actually be the Hokage right now. Sarada won’t be the Hokage for the next 10-15 more years, which means Konoha needs a short-term fix, and this could be none other than her very own father, Sasuke.

Konoha Needs Sasuke Uchiha As Hokage

Sasuke’s Truth Should Be Revealed Soon

Sasuke Uchiha is the perfect candidate for the Hokage position inBoruto: Two Blue Vortex. Fans know for a fact that Sasuke would’ve been the Hokage had he not left the village after Omnipotence. Right now, Konoha sees Sasuke Uchiha as a traitor and a collaborator with Boruto Uzumaki. However, the truth is slowly coming out. Shikamaru has already figured out the truth of Omnipotence, and that Sasuke isn’t a traitor. Sakura and Sarada already know the truth, and even the likes of Konohamaru have started to figure out the truth. It shouldn’t be long beforethe truth of the Omnipotenceis exposed and a counter to it is revealed.

I will save you, no matter what, Master Sasuke! — Boruto Uzumaki

Once Sasuke and Boruto have their name cleared, they should, logically speaking, return to Konoha. But, the fact that Naruto is most certainly not going to return for a while, which is confirmed by the fact that Kawaki is still keeping him trapped when he fights Boruto, means that he won’t get to return as Hokage anytime soon. Konoha needs a new leader, and there isno better option than Sasuke Uchiha.
