Boruto: Two Blue Vortexis in the middle of an intense match right now, as Boruto finally comes toe-to-toe with Jura, the leader ofthe Human God Trees. But as much as fans would love to see Boruto overpower Jura, chapter 22 makes it clear that Jura holds the upper hand. At his current level, Boruto is hopelessly outmatched, and the manga seemingly suggests he still has a long way to go.
The Human God Trees, or simply the Shinju clones, are currently the major threat in theBorutomanga. They came into being after Code’s self-awareness awakened within certain Claw Grimes who successfully consumed a chakra source. Now, these clones are out for blood as they aim to kill their targets, including Boruto, who poses a significant threat to their existence.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 22 Is All About Jura’s Terrifying Strength
Jura Is Designed to Be Unbeatable
Jura is undeniably a force to be reckoned with inBoruto: Two Blue Vortex, especially after the latest chapter showed his cold intellect and terrifying strength. As thedirect incarnation of the Ten Tailsand the leader of the Human God Trees, he possesses an overwhelming power far superior to any of the other characters inBoruto.
Among the Human God Trees, Jura is without a doubt the most significant threat, not just because of the power he holds, but also because he resolves to understand humans and their flaws. He longs for knowledge, and learning new things excites him more than anything else. This intellectual hunger sets him apart, making hima truly unique villainunlike any Boruto has faced before.
“It’s a bad habit, but fighting a strong opponent like you makes my heart dance with joy."—Jura to Boruto
DespiteBoruto’s new power-ups and techniques,Two Blue Vortexchapter 22 proves that he’s still no match for Jura. Instead of fearing Boruto, Jura enjoys fighting a strong opponent like him, despite the vast difference in strength. Boruto can’t even read Jura’s moves, making it harder for him to find an opening to turn the fight around. As Kashin Koji revealed, Boruto has no chance of winning against Jura during the current sequence of events.
Why Boruto Can’t Win Against Jura Now
Jura Is Still Too Powerful to Beat
Although Boruto emerges as one of thestrongest shinobi in Two Blue Vortex, with his new variant of Rasengan and the Flying Raijin jutsu, he still pales in comparison to Jura, who shows no signs of trouble and struggles in dealing with him. As Kashin Koji’s prescience suggests, Boruto’s current strength simply isn’t enough to defeat Jura, at least not in the present sequence of events.
Unless someone interferes—maybe Sarada, Kawaki, or possibly even Kashin Koji—or Boruto unlocks a new power likethe long-speculated Jogan, he’s in serious danger of not making it out of the fight with Jura alive. His supposed trump card, the Rasengan Uzuhiko, doesn’t work at all because its effects can be easily rescinded by someone like Jura who understands the technique’s underlying principle.
“There’s no way he can win. Not with the current sequence of events."—Kashin Koji
As it turns out, the Uzuhiko is surprisingly similar to Jura’s Biju Bomb, which makes it easy for him to nullify it. Contrary to Boruto’s expectations that a direct hit would leave Jura unable to even stand straight, the Rasengan Uzuhiko has little to no effect. To make matters worse, Boruto’s chances of escaping are slim, due to the limits of his Flying Raijin technique. Now, his life is at the mercy of Jura, who seems adamant to kill him above all else.
Can Boruto Defeat Jura?
It Will Likely Happen Soon but Not Right Now
While it seems hopeless for Boruto to outlive the fight with Jura, Kashin Koji seemingly hints that victory is still possible should the proper sequence of events be followed.Defeating Jura would be a major undertaking, but not entirely out of reach in the near future. Perhaps the real question to ask is how would Boruto defeat an incredibly formidable opponent like Jura.
“Boruto’s done for. Without doubt."—Kashin Koji
Many fans believe Boruto could unlock a new technique, possibly the Jogan, to overpower Jura. Some fans thinkMomoshiki would resurface and take control of Borutoagain, helping him survive or escape from the battlefield. Others predict that a third party, possibly Kawaki, whose limiters have been rescinded, would intervene. Kashin Koji may also join the fight just to retrieve Boruto, although pulling that off wouldn’t be easy.
From these, it’s absolutely clear that Jura will eventually be defeated in theBorutomanga. All these events push Boruto closer to victory, so fans will have to be more patient and let the creators carefully develop and cook the story.
