Amado tries to explain, justifying his actions with hisdesire to resurrect Akebi, but Kawaki rejects his ideas and proposes something different. He’s willing to do whatever Amado asks in exchange for using every possible method to make him stronger beyond his limits.

Knowing Amado, he may still have two or more tricks up his sleeve to strengthen Kawaki enough to overpower Jura.
