When Will Black Ops 6 & Warzone Season 4 Release?
Season 4 forBlack Ops 6andWarzoneis set tolaunch on Thursday, May 29, at 9 AM PTacross all platforms, including Battle.net, Steam, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. As with every major seasonal update, the launch of Season 4 will require a title update, meaning players will need to fully install the new patch before jumping in. Fortunately, players will be able topre-download the Season 4 update in advance,allowing them to dive straight in as soon as it goes live on May 29.
The release ofBlack Ops 6andWarzoneSeason 4 will also mark the end of the Season 3 Battle Pass, as well asthe conclusion of the CODE: Got Your Six Event. That means players have until May 29 to claim all limited-time rewards from both. What To Expect For Season 4 Of Black Ops 6 & Warzone
New Multiplayer Maps & Modes
Kickstarting the long line of content arriving with Season 4 isthe debut of new Multiplayer maps, many of which will drop as soon as Season 4 goes live.Fringe fromBlack Ops 3makes its return, along with new additions like Shutdown, Fugitive, Blitz, and Eclipse.

Additional Multiplayer modes also enter the fray, includingTeam Elimination, the return ofOne in the Chamber, and the debut ofParty Ops.Team Elimination launches with the season and takes the form of a Kill Confirmed-style mode, now featuring rounds and limited lives for added intensity. One in the Chamber and Party Ops, on the other hand, will arrive with the mid-season update.
Weapon & Loadout Additions

Players can also look forward to even more loadout options in Season 4, including the return ofthe Grim Reaper Scorestreak,obtainable through an event. Zombies Updates
While Zombies is not receiving another map for Season 4, fans of the popular co-op mode can expect a roster of updates, with one of the most anticipated beingthe return of Grief, which made its very first debut back inBlack Ops 2. Grief takes players into a competitive frenzy, where two teams of four players will need to compete in PvE action, surviving until the last team standing. Grief will be supported on all Zombies maps, and will launch as soon as Season 4 makes its debut.
Additional Dark Ops Challenges also arrive at launch, giving players even more rewards to grind for. Those sticking around for the mid-season update can look forward toLimited-Time Modes (LTMs) such as Starting Room and Abomination Challenge.
That’s not all, as brand-new loadout additions tailored specifically for Zombies are also making their debut. The first is the majorreturn of the Shatter Blast Ammo Mod,applying explosive damage to weapons to deal with those pesky Armored Zombies. In addition, three new GobbleGums—Explosive Flourish, Flavor Hex, and Rainburps—will be added to the loot pool, all available from launch.
Warzone Content Overview
Multiplayer and Zombies may be a major focus in Season 4, butWarzonealso receives a roster of unique content drops. The biggest reveal forWarzoneisthe arrival of a new point of interest on Verdansk: The Overlook.Players can find this large skyscraper towards Downtown,dropping in to secure valuable lootwhile evading enemy players.
