While any class can be played solo, the following are characters that do the best overall alone for the average player, without the need for high levels of skill to just make it through the first night.

Ironeye
Ironeye is just a powerful character overall, but the ability toconstantly fight from a distance is great when alone. You will have to quickly take out approaching enemies or always be repositioning, but the safety given from your bow makes clearing out most field enemies a breeze.
Revenant
The Revenant is the one class that will nevertruly be alone thanks to her summons. This is the one class that can have additional entities taking enemy attention away from you, letting you cast spells and deal damage uninterrupted. You will have to perfectly utilize and even protect your summons, but even just a temporary break from enemy attention is a rarity when playing alone.
Guardian
The Guardian has thehighest survivability and the highest overall Vigor statof any character. As long as you focus on increasing his damage in some way, he’ll be able to stand toe-to-toe with just about anything you find. Both of his abilities are great for crowds, which you’ll constantly be facing alone.
Wylder
The Wylder has overall good survivability despite not having the highest Vigor stat.His passive helps keep you aliveeven when you fail a dodge and get hit. His grappling hook ability is also great for getting into or out of sticky situations, letting you control a fight even when outnumbered.
Executor
The Executor can be a bit of a more complex option, but if you can figure out his character ability to block attacks, his survivability is decent. His overall damage output and transformation can make him excel in combat, usually seeing you taking down an enemy before they can get you.
Tips For Playing Solo In Elden Ring Nightreign
One of the biggest downsides when playing alone is not having teammates to pick you up when you go down. When playing solo,Merchants will sell Wending Grace, which will pick you up once when you go down against a Nightboss or the Nightlord. Enemy health has all been scaled downward, but their numbers have not been, so it’s best to focus on upgrades and weapons that excel when fighting against groups.
You’ll also want to focus on Rune Acquisition upgrades, sotry opening Evergaolsto get your stats much higher and give you the advantage in a one-on-one against a strong boss. If you don’t chooseone of the classesmentioned above, you’ll want to consider trying to boost your max HP or get a defensive Talisman, as most of the other four classes can be very squishy and go down in just one or two hits from a boss.
