Summary
The turn-based gacha RPG from Project Moon,Limbus Company, continues to add new challenges, with new Cantos and new IDs released regularly. The game takes inspiration from Project Moon’s previous games,Library of RuinaandLobotomy Corporation, with the same anime-inspired aesthetic andcomplex systemsof characters, affinities, and elements.
Thanks to the game’s many systems, like sin affinities, status effects, E.G.O. skills, and the many variations of character IDs, there are a huge number of team compositions and play styles that players can employ inLimbus Company. Rupture is a status effect that is primarily used for taking down single targets, like abnormalities. That’s because Rupture deals fixed damage (damage that cannot be resisted) to enemies once stacked, so players can chain consistently high additional damage on targets by maintaining their stacks, and burst down even tough bosses quickly.
Recent updates have added even more variations to the possibilities for Rupture-based teams, with new IDs that can even give teams some viability outside boss fights and in Mirror Dungeons. For players looking for the best combination of character IDs to make up their roster, these are some of the best Rupture teams in Limbus Company.

This version of the Rupture team is designed to apply high Rupture count and potency quickly. There are two ways that this composition achieves this. The first is through using units to create early Gluttony affinity chains, allowing Devyat Rodion to use her skill three to build up 16 Rupture potency and three count per hit. The second is with LCE E.G.O. Lantern Yi Sang, this unit needs to be kept low level, as the trick to using them is to lose clashes and die while the ability Fairy Lure is active.
Thanks to the units abilities, this will apply even more Rupture to the enemy, and buff the Rupture abilities of the unit who subs in for them. In this case, Cinq Assoc. Meursault is used to sub-in, as by the time he comes out, players will have enough Rupture count and potency stacked to make his moves count neutral (this means he won’t deplete Rupture stacks when attacking). This composition uses theMao Branch IDsfor Ryoshu and Outis, as these units have high base power as well as Rupture and Gluttony synergy, but there are other options that will work in these two slots, like K. Corp Hong Lu, or Seven Assoc. Faust.
This version of the Rupture team works similarly to the composition above, but instead of using the LCE ID for Yi Sang, this group uses W. Corp Yi Sang for his Rupture and Gluttony synergy and Dimension Rift, his skill three, which can be very potent in Rupture teams. In this case, players wanta fully leveled Yi Sang, as he’ll be used as a full team member rather than a sacrifice in this lineup. Essentially, players are still looking to get a four-skill gluttony chain on turn one to start building Rupture potency and count quickly.
One important thing to note is that this team will be more effective if Rodion has the highest HP at theend of turn one, as she will benefit most from Red Sheet Sinclair’s Talisman passive buff. This is why Lantern Don Quixote has been replaced by Cinq Assoc. Meursault here, as Don normally has slightly higher base HP than Rodion and often takes the buff if used. Barring this situation, any of the previously mentioned slot 5/6 units should also work in these positions.
While Devyat Rodion has been the center-piece for most Rupture teams for some time now, her newer ID, Heishou Pack Si Branch Rodion, can be just as effective, if not more so. Adding her to the team with the Heishou Pack Mao Branch IDs leads to a Rupture team that gets all the synergies of the previous group for building count and potency, but also enough IDs with high base power levels to beusable outside of Rupture teams' normal comfort zone, boss fights. With that said, piling up fixed damage on single targets is still this team’s strong point.
This team excels in boss fightsthat can’t be won in four turns or less with a standard Rupture setup, as a slightly longer setup leads to potentially better payoffs, with the use of Si Branch Rodion’s skill two and three for high coin count Rupture procs. Since the Si Branch Rodion ID has relatively low HP, the Talisman buff in this setup will likely be taken by K. Corp Hong Lu, but that can be utilized with his E.G.O. skill Lasso for massive damage, if players get the opportunity. Other setups can burst down bosses faster, but this team can last in a prolonged fight and works better in Mirror Dungeons, too.
