Summary

Nightreignis finally here, and players from across the world are all jumping in to experience what could possibly be the final chapter in theElden Ringsaga. The game is familiar in many ways but distinctly different, requiring a whole new learning curve to understand and fully make the most of the world before it. One of these new additions is the relic system that provides upgrades outside of the game that can augment character abilities, starting items, and base stats.

Relics come in many shapes and forms, each with a distinctive color that limits which slots the Nightfarers can hold them in. Even if the player fails a run, they still gain access to powerful buffs that can transform how they interact with the environment and improve their chances of success.Ironeyeis one of the more interesting characters in the roster, bringing long-range and utility to the fray, and there are quite a few relic effects that benefit that kind of playstyle.

Nightreign Relic Blue

Supporting The Team However Possible

Relic Effects:

Drizzly scenes are one of the less accessible relic types for Ironeye, as only two of the vessels the character has access to can actually slot the blue color. However, in situations where the player seeks a more well-rounded playstyle, having some supportive abilities can greatly benefit the team, particularly in runs against some of the more challenging Nightlords down the line.

Extra heals are always going to be useful when going into the later stages, and having some extra runes beforehand will allow players to reach level-up thresholds faster and have a few extra runes left over to spend onconsumables or smithing stones. Having a boost to the overall healthiness of the party makes going into crowded areas just a bit easier, as the player can provide passive healing without having to run away and regroup for a second attempt.

Nightreign Relic Night of the Baron

Critical Bonuses That Keep The Ultmates Coming

Night of the Baron is a pretty powerful relic that can be equipped by any Nightfarer with a blue slot to spare. Ironeye has the unique access to ranged crits that can allow certain meters to fill up significantly faster, and when they do need to get up close and personal, having some added damage and gauge restoration means that the risk of going in almost always pays off.

It’s a nice, well-rounded relic that benefits a variety of playstyles and allows players to maintain the ranged attacks without compromising their damage output in any way. It also comes with the added bonus of restoring stamina at a faster rate, which is perfect when executing a critical attack up close and then retreating to safety to keep the arrows coming.

Nightreign Relic Night of the Wise

Tick Damage That Hits Hard For Longer

Night of the Wise is a pretty powerful relic that can transform a character from a simple warrior to a poisonous monster that shreds through health bars like they are nothing. The way status effects work in the game is the same as before, requiring several instances of damage to build them up, and then once it pops, the damage ticks for a decent amount over a set period.

Having access to this kind of power right from the start makes certain enemies and bosses a walk in the park with Ironeye, as the player can quickly apply the poison from afar without ever being threatened by the enemy attacks. Also, thanks tothe multishot ability, players can apply several instances of poison at once, adding to the damage and removing anything from the screen that steps in the way.

Nightreign Relic Red

Simplistic Buffs That Make Arrows Hit Hard

Some relic buffs are simpler than others, and sometimes having a consistent set of stats boosts can be just as strong, if not better than other effects. Ironeye and bow users in general love the Dexterity stat, and hence, looking for relics that have up to three additional points in it from the start will help the player clear camps faster and push on to harder enemies sooner in the run.

It’s also nice to have some extra defensive tools at times, like the poise and damage negation effect that helps players recover when an unexpected hit knocks them off balance. Overall, having a mix of both aggressive relics that consistently allow for more damage and a few milder defensive buffs will make the player far more secure and give them a better chance at finishing the run with a win.

Nightreign Relic Green

Aggression With Multiple Slots To Fill

When it comes to raw damage output and DPS capabilities, there are a few perfect buffs that Ironeye will love more than other characters. Bow attack power bonuses and passive damage buffs that reward two-handing, being able to boost the player’s damage while not having to think about extra effects or conditions, make the whole experience much easier and a load more fun.

Also, as the effect benefits bows in general, there is no need to worry about having a specific damage type or status effect, and instead, players gain access to a substantial buff right from the start that never puts them in harm’s way. It’s perfect for players who really prefer the super safe, glass cannon playstyle and for those more interested in taking enemies down as quickly as possible.

Nightreign Relic Cracked Sealing Wax

Rune Generation And Insane Buff Durations

The Cracked Sealing Wax is Ironeye’s remembrance-specific relic, which grants players a direct buff to one of the best abilities in the entire game. Having a universal damage boost is great as it is, but being able to extend that duration even further just by having a relic equipped means that players can almost always have an enemy marked, which makes focus fire even more powerful when playing as a group.

The relic also brings with it some currency generation, which is crucialin the early gamewhen players need to make split-second decisions about where to go next. It’s easily one of Ironeye’s best relics, but it does come with the slight drawback of only providing two effect slots, but the power can normally make up for it when it comes to raw damage and boss-killing potential.

Nightreign Relic Night of the Miasma

Stealth And Frost All In One

Night of the Miasma is a great relic for players who are fine with trading off early game power for late-game consistency. The secondary effect doesn’t actually apply to bows, but even without it, the power of the relic is pretty insane when it comes to taking on more difficult foes further down the line. Finding a frostbite weapon is much easier than it sounds, and even if the player can’t track one down, there are more than enough consumables to kickstart the chills.

Being able to not only gain a substantial damage bonus from a basic status-effect, but also gaining access to a heightened level of stealth, turns Ironeye into a sneaky archer that puts out insane damage while constantly being obscured from any enemies that might be looking to sneak up behind the player. Great for bosses and even better in the open plains, and a decent choice that adds some variety to the traditional bow playstyle.

Nightreign Relic Yellow

Mobility And Damage Packed Into One

Ironeye’s skills are among the best in the game, bringing some great utility that benefits solo and multiplayer, as well as some significant damage output that can reliably take down almost anything in just a few hits. Whenpicking up a relicthat benefits skill generation, the player is transformed into an ability-spamming machine that takes the concept of a cooldown and throws it out the window.

The reason these effects are so useful on Ironeye is that they combo so well with other powerful relics like the Cracked Sealing Wax, where players can apply the weakness to several enemies at once, and also have substantial duration on each one. The added mobility and damage output make any form of cooldown reduction a massive bonus for the player’s overall power, and they should definitely keep an eye out for effects like these in their relic collection.
