Description

Unleash

Unleash the Force in a cone in front of Yoda, damaging and punishing enemies back. When Yoda blocks damage using his BLOCK ability, the range and damage of UNLEASH increase for a short time.

Presence

Yoda instantly heals himself and allies around him. Whern the ability is activated, he will also break out of any immobilizing effect.

Dash Attack

Yoda leaps forwards up to two times, dealing damage without being blocked.

A little green friend who proves that size matters not, sadly underwhelms. Yoda’s size has its advantages, as it allows him to be relatively unseen and unshot by blasters, but his size also makes it rather hard for him to hit his lightsaber swings with limited range and slow attack speeds. While Yoda sprints fast, and his block is great for controlling the battlefield and converting that energy into his Unleash Force Push, he lacks thesurvivability and patienceto be the best lightsaber character inBattlefront 2. Yoda is still good, as his Dash Attack will always break through enemy guard, and the Presence ability grants bonus health and gets him out of immobilizing effects, but for most players, he’s just too small to master. However, Yoda is essential for Palpatine, as his block negates Palpatine’s lightning without impacting Yoda’s stamina.

Thermal Detonators

Leia can throw, up to three, thermal detonators that will explode after a short time. This ability enters cooldown when all three detonators have been thrown.

Rapid Fire

Leia Organa swaps her blaster for an enhanced E-11 Assault Rifle which allows her to blast enemies with a stream of aggressive laser fire.

Squad Shield

Leia Organa deploys a squad shield at her location. Inside the safety of her shield, Leia is able to be protected from blaster fire and regenerate some health.

The highly supportive and extremely aggressive Princess of Alderaan is a true threat for the Dark Side, as Leia will use explosives and her blaster to take care of anyone who dares rush her. Leia is great from a distance, using a Squad Shield to support her allies and regenerate health passively, all while she takes away large amounts of health from enemies by throwing clustered Thermal Detonators to ensure that the Sith she is fighting stays on the move, and away from her. With an alternate fire from her pistol, she can break through blocks, and her rapid-fire E-11 Assault Rifle has her eat away at enemy stamina and pierce them like no trigger finger ever could.

Dash Strike

Rey charges forward with her lightsaber, dealing damage to enemies on the way.

Insight

Rey senses her surroundings, revealing all nearby enemies to her while she disappears from their radars. Her stamina costs are halved and her damage is increased while this ability is active.

Mind Trick

Rey causes nearby enemies to be dazed and confused for a brief duration.

Once a scavenger, now a Jedi, Rey uses her training to dominate the battlefield, but only for those who know how to use her correctly. Rey might seem overly aggressive with her Dash Strike ability to allow her to knock foes down with a lightsaber attack, but she should be played as a smart duelist. Her Mind Trick ability will have her daze enemies, inverting their controls to make it hard for them to move correctly, which provides open windows of attack for Rey, which are further increased by Insight that grants Rey increased stamina and damage. Rey becomes a rivaling duelist, and her abilities make her fast, unpredictable, and aggressive with her damage.

Pull Dominance

Anakin pulls enemies in front of him to a center point, leaving them open for attacks.

Heroic Might

Anakin takes highly reduced damage while holding the ability. When released, he pushes all enemies around him, with range being increased by the amount of damage taken while held.

Passionate Strike

Anakin unleashes a heavy strike, breaking his opponent’s guard and dealing high damage.

Retribution

Anakin’s power intensify whenever he and any nearby allies are attacked, building towards the ultimate punishment of a swift and inescapable grip seizing all enemies around him.

Anakin Skywalker,at launch, was unstoppable. However, many nerfs have impacted the Chosen One, leaving Anakin Skywalker as one of the best heroes, but not the best. Anakin’s abilities make him great for clearing out Separatist droids and for halting blaster-wielding villains due to his Pull Dominance ability to force enemies towards him and into his unrelenting lightsaber strikes, which can further stun enemies with Heroic Might to send them to the floor. Anakin’s low stamina but aggressive strikes make him a cunning warrior, and one who can only his own against the Sith, especially with a heavy guard-breaking hit of Passionate Strike to constantly stay on the offensive.

Detonite Charge

Han Solo throws a sticky charge which can be detonated at will.

Sharpshooter

Han Solo can fire the DL-44 rapidly for the next few seconds.

Shoulder Charge

Han Solo charges forwards, knocking over and damaging the first enemy he hits. Enemies are damaged and staggered when blocking.

A scruffy-looking smuggler who’s always on the move. Han Solo can be a true menace, so much so that even lightsaber-wielding opponents should fear his DL-44 blaster and his Detonite Charge. Han Solo can easily control the situation on the battlefield with his Detonite Charge, allowing him to lay an explosive that can be detonated at any time to knock opponents down and leave them open to attack. If Han is being rushed, he can repeatedly roll out of the way of danger, and even use a Shoulder Charge to keep them at bay. With a hard-hitting blaster pistol, Han Solo can deal chunks of damage to a Sith’s stamina when they are trying to block, but even up close, Han’s abilities make him deadly, thus providinga versatile blaster herofor other blasters and Sith to fight.

Push

Luke Skywalker uses the Force to push enemies in front of him, knocking them over ledges or into danger.

Repulse

Luke Skywalker sends a burst of Force energy out from the ground, dealing damage to any enemies nearby.

Rush

Luke Skywalker uses the Force to enhance his speed and quickly move in any direction while swinging his lightsaber.

With the fastest speed of any Jedi, Luke Skywalker runs through the battlefield to overwhelm enemies with quick bursts of damage, sticking to them as he swings his lightsaber with precision. Luke Skywalker is very high-risk and high-reward in his playstyle, as it requires players to be aggressive anddaring with their attacks, combining his Force Push and Repulse abilities to knock enemies down, while also using Rush to rapidly swing his lightsaber toward his enemies. The right Luke Skywalker is unrelenting in his approach, but also cautious of the damage that can be dealt to him.

All-Out Push

The lessons of the Jedi mantra inspire Obi-Wan to resolve conflict without emotion, pushing back his attackers and extending his reach.

Restrictive Mind Trick

A Jedi’s mastery of the Force can influence the weak-minded, and in the case of Master Kenobi, even subvert his enemy’s desire to use their abilities against him.

Defensive Rush

Obi-Wan demonstrates his bravery by surging towards any enemies foolish enough to cross his path, deflecting blaster fire as well as choosing to deliver a final strike at any time.

There’s a reason that Obi-Wan Kenobi is a Jedi Master, and there’s a reason he’s the best hero inBattlefront 2. Obi-Wan Kenobi’s abilities make him far superior to other Jedi and Sith, with the greatest stamina and health regeneration to ensure his survival. Obi-Wan needs to play it safe, relying less on his abilities and more on his Star Cards to play defensively, targeting enemy stamina and health while far surpassing them with his own stamina and health.

Obi-Wan can destroy Sith and blaster villains with ease thanks to his parrying and blocking abilities. While his All-Out Push isn’t too great for using the Force, deactivating enemy abilities with Restrictive Mind Trick and going on the offensive with Defensive Rush make Obi-Wana true playmakerwho can be swift, defensive, and deadly.
