Dune Awakeningoffers an in-depth character creator, giving all players a lot of customization tools to create someone unique. However, right after modeling the character, you’ll talk to the Reverend Mother, who’ll let you pick the character’s Homeworld, Caste, and Mentor. This is great for fleshing out your character’s background, giving them unique dialog traits and abilities depending on the selection. Here’s what you should pick.
Which Homeworld Should You Pick in Dune Awakening?
Homeland is the first option players will get to choose while setting up their background inDune Awakening. However, this option will have little to no impact on the gameplay, aside from acouple of extra dialog optionsthat will pop up during conversations sometimes. Here are the details for all Homeworld options in the game.
Ixian Secret
Which Caste Should You Pick in Dune Awakening?
Similar to the Homeworld option, Caste also does not have a tangible impact when it comes to gameplay ofDune Awakening. It’s only to help you pick which part of the social ladder your character belongs to, which will add some extra dialog options during conversations. Here are details for all the Castes available in the game.
The labor class of society.
Which Mentor Should You Pick in Dune Awakening?
Now that we’ve got background, non-gameplay traits out of the way, it’s time to decide which mentor your character had. This option will have the most impact on abilities and other traits possessed by your character in terms of gameplay. Each class here comes with its own expansive skill tree, and choosing one will unlock its first ability. However, you’ll be able to play as other classes as you unlock them byfinding their respective trainers inDune Awakening.
It’s best to choose either Bene Gesserit Acolyte or Mentat as mentors at the start of the game. The trainers for these classes unlock way later in the game, unlikeTrooper, which can be unlocked early.
Here’s the information on all the Mentor options in the character creator.
