The standard rifle of the Heavy Class, the DC-15, will support starting players who are just beginning their journey into the larger world ofBattlefront 2, but it’s notthe best. As the standard issue heavy blaster, the DC-15 has an impressive cooling power and a pretty good rate of fire, but it completely lacks in both range and damage. The DC-15’s DPS is limited, not because the rate of fire isn’t there, but because the damage isn’t good at all, which will have players feeling like they’re using a blaster set to stun before they finish their target. To make matters worse for the DC-15,the gun doesn’t come with any modifications.

The FWMB-10K has average stats across the board, and these stats make the weapon pretty good. The FWMB-10K has a medium rate of fire, along with a medium damage output, which makes this heavy blaster a confident choice for players who want to use a weapon that’s ajack of all trades, but a master of none. The FWMB-10K’s average stats mean it’s not going to be the best of anything, but the Ion Shot modification makes it great for dealing with objective-based modes like Supremacy for its ability to deal more damage against shields, vehicles, and turrets.

It’s no surprise that the Clone Army decimated the Separatists and Droid Army when they had their main weapon in hand: the DC-15LE. The DC-15LE isa decent weapon for long-range engagements, and one that benefits from a high rate of fire. The one problem with the DC-15LE is its low damage output, which even rapid fire cannot save. The DC-15LE does have a nice selection of mods that make it reliable for Supremacy game modes, especially for players who want to take care of specialist units or objectives.
The T-21 impresses with its extremely high range and damage output, providing players with a weapon that can kill most opposing soldiers in 3 shots, or sometimes even 2, depending on the class. The T-21 easily shoots powerful blaster bolts that will most certainly destroy every target, but players will have to withstand its extremely low rate of fire. The T-21 is a slow weapon, one bestsuited for long-distance battles, but more agile and aggressive players will still be able to get up close with this weapon, provided they are careful with positioning and accurate to ensure their opponents falter.

Players won’t need to worry about the relatively low damage, as the rate of fire and cooling power of the TL-50 work hard to provide a devastating blaster rifle that will conquer the battlefront through a variety of different game modes, but it’s still dependent on preference, as the TL-50 is designed for close-range engagementsfor those who like to get up close.
