The Initial Show Of Strength

In the initial episode of theWind Breakeranime series, Kotoha Tachibana was being harassed by a group of gangsters, and she was in a bad spot when Sakura, seeing this, stepped in to save her by beating up the gang members. However, what is a plot without a bit of revenge?

The gang members returned in numbers and attacked Sakura and Kotoha. Just when there seemed to be no way out, the second-in-command of Bofurin and his subordinates showed up and took over the fight, finishing the job swiftly. The fight was stimulating for fans of the anime series across the world as it showed a slice of the strength of the guardians of Makochi.

7Sugishita’s Squabble With Sakura

A Welcome Through The Clash Of Fists

Sakura, new to Furin High, revealed his goal to his classmates: to become the leader of the Bofurin group. Unknown to him, a student named Sugishita does not take lightly to any word spoken against Umemiya, the current leader of Bofurin, or his position.

In retaliation to Sakura’s statement, Sugishita attacked Sakura, to the new student’s shock. The fight soon turned interesting when Sakura, who was originally in defensive mode, dodging Sugishita’s attacks, went on the offensive, moving flexibly as he fought. Their classmates watched from the side in shock, as no oneexpected Sakura to be that good. The fight between the two marked a turning point in the anime series as Sakura’s classmates started to look up to him with admiration and respect.

6Sugishita’s Swift Win Against Arima

Shortest Fight Ever

Sugishita is a character who never shies away from violence, regardless of the consequences. He and Sakura, disregarding the boundary law, attacked amember of the Shishitoren teamin the early episodes of the anime series because they were bullying a young civilian. This encounter then led to the battle between Shishitoren and Bofurin.

Arima, Sugishita’s opponent, started out by distracting Sugishita, thereby using that opportunity to land a punch on Sugishita. The move, however, backfired, as Sugishita wasted no time in ending the battle by grabbing Arima and slamming him to the ground with immense force, knocking him out instantly. Sugishita’s battle was one of the most satisfying battles in the entire anime series, and fans could not help but applaud his strength.

5Suo Vs Kanuma

A Serving Of Humiliation

Suo is a character in theWind Breakerthat is constantly spotted at major events in the anime series. He has a calm demeanor and never seeks out a fight; however, he never disappoints when it is his turn to battle.

He was paired with Kanuma, a Shishitoren member at the fighting arena, whom he humiliated with no remorse. Suo played around on the stage, making Kanuma stumble to retain his dignity, at which point Suo called Kanuma childish and asked him to join everyone else in adulthood. Suo’s battle was a laughable moment in the anime series, as hegave his opponent no chanceto save face.

4Hiragi And Sako’s Battle

Friends Hash Out Their Differences

Hiragi and Sako, initially best friends, are now turned rivals in the battle of Bofurin against Shishitoren. After being sent to Furin High, Hiragi lost contact with Sako; however, Sako saw that as Hiragi neglecting their friendship. With built-up resentment, Sako sought to beat Hiragi in this battle.

Sako showed top-notch abilitiesin his fight against Hiragi, with him landing the first blow, which Hiragi allowed because he felt responsible for how Sako turned out. With Hiragi’s team’s reputation and territory at stake, however, Hiragi could not let Sako win the fight. In this part of the anime series, Hiragi showed ruthlessness as never before as he took victory for himself.

3Umemiya Against Choji

A Battle Of The Top Dogs

Choji, Shishitoren’s leader, had always wanted to fight against Umemiya, the leader of Bofurin. Therefore, Choji was delighted when he learned that their long-standing boundary law had been breached by Bofurin members. Using that as an excuse, Choji challenged Umemiya to a duel and placed a bet on both their territories.

The fight really proved why they were placed as leaders of their individual teams, as their movements in battle were so fast, the spectators could hardly keep up with their eyes. The battle, however, turned out to be quite an eye-opener for the character Choji and the anime series’ fans, as Umemiya passed across a message to Choji in words while still in combat, allowing Choji to see his fault as a leader.

2Sakura’s Fight With Togame

The Language Of Combat Unleashed

In the clash of Bofurin against Shishitoren, Togame, who was matched with Sakura in a one-on-one fight, was clearly stronger than Sakura. From his speed to the force behind his punches and kicks,Togame dominated Sakura effortlessly.

However, things changed when Sakura started becoming faster and his movements smoother, as he called Togame lame for not standing up to Choji and supporting his bad leadership. The fight serves as one of the best because despite the fact that they were beating each other up, especially close to the end of the fight, they still had smiles on their faces. They communicated without needing to speak.

1The Battle Between Bofurin And Keel

Guardians Vs Dragonbone

Keel, a vicious gang in the town that forces and blackmails their members into joining the gang, reared their head and became a problem when they targeted Masaki Anzai, a member of Bofurin. Masaki, in trying to protect his friend Nagato from the bullying Nagato was facing as a member of Keel, fought with some Keel members.

Wanting to get to the bottom of their classmate’s bruise-filled body and secretive demeanor, Sakura led a bunch of the class’s students to Keel’s base. The battle, whichwas initially tipped against the Bofurin studentsas they were outnumbered, turned in their favor when three second-year students—Kaji, Enomoto, and Kusumi—came to the rescue. The clash proves to be the best fight in theWind Breakeranime series so far due to the impressive techniques displayed by the fighters. In the end, the Bofurin members were able to save Nagato.
