Fueling the Rage isn’t a great Star Card, as the only advantage it has on enemies is that it will increase the duration that Focused Rage is active for. However, Focused Rage already lasts a decent amount of time, so an extra 6 seconds isn’t going tostop Vader from dying, and the fact that players are missing out on bonus damage makes it something that just should not be used.

Last Grasp is a great ability, but one that players might not always want to equip. Last Gasp provides bonus damage to enemies that are currently trapped in Darth Vader’s Force Choke, and with the maximum Star Cards, that’s a whopping 50% extra damage to these choking victims, which will provide Darth Vader with the necessary damage to ensure nobody survives his assault.

intensified lightsaber throw

Enemies will see Darth Vader and run to save themselves, but with There is No Escape… well, there really is no escape. This Star Card will let Darth Vader throw his lightsaber even further, to a maximum of 50%. This can be great for players who do not want enemies to get away, or for the Darth Vader players who want to make sure that they can hit enemies from miles away, like any good blaster could.

Deflection Stamina can also be seen as a must-have for more intense game modes where Darth Vader is fighting against the Rebels. Deflection Stamina means that players will use less stamina when they are blocking and deflecting enemy fire from blasters, which is great against peskyHeroes like Leia Organaand Han Solo, and other default Rebel enemies with blaster rifles that will try and overwhelm Vader.

furious resilience

Surrounded by Fear is certainlya good choice, but mainly in modes like Galactic Assault, where there are countless Rebels to fight. Surrounded by Fear isn’t good for Heroes vs. Villains or Hero Showdown, as it will provide regained stamina after a kill, and those modes will require too much patience and not enough enemies to warrant getting stamina, which will be used to attack and block blaster fire.

Another ofVader’s elite abilitiesis the Lightsaber Throw, allowing for Darth Vader to throw his lightsaber, which will hit enemies from the front, and then hit them from behind on the return. Most players do not predict the sudden throw, nor the lightsaber swinging back into them, thus providing easy damage against Rebels and Heroes who will take a noticeable chunk of damage for a throw done right.

Punishing Grip is unique to Vader in the sense that he’s the only one with a Force Choke ability to use, and it complements his style well. Not only can Vader use Force Choke to direct enemies off of cliffs to plummet to their deaths, but he can use it to suspend them in the air while he slashes them with a lightsaber, so increasing the duration of that ability is of course going to be one of the best so that players are suspended and victim to Vader’s might.

As if Darth Vader couldn’t become more powerful, his next best Star Card releases with Bonus Health. More health means more potential for mayhem as Vader carves a path through his foes, whether they are Jedi or Rebels. Bonus Health gives players an extra fighting chance, as the more health they have, the more they can bewith their lightsaber, and the more lenient they are to take hits and regenerate lost health.

Focused Rage is one of Darth Vader’s most important abilities, since Focused Rage will provide Vader with reduced stamina costwith his lightsaber strikes, as well as some bonus damage to each attack, and temporary bonus health. To make things even more powerful for this Sith Lord, Furious Resilience will reduce the damage Vader takes during this ability to a maximum of 25%, thus making him an unstoppable Sith.
