Summary
Fantasy Life I: The Girl Who Steals Timehas an assortment of lives for the player to attempt to master. As playerslevel these lives, they will unlock points that can be used to purchase various skills on the life skill board for that selected life. With lives that range from combat, gathering, and crafting, each life has its own individual life board to allow players to invest in different areas depending on what the player may be struggling with.
One of the most used lives inFantasy Life Iis the Blacksmith crafting life. Players are likely to gain quite a few levels with this life due to needing to forge various weapons and armor for the other lives inThe Girl Who Steals Time. When wondering in the direction the player should go on the Skill Board, these are by far the best skills for Blacksmith.
8EXP Earned Plus
Level Up As A Blacksmith Faster
Unlike the gathering lives inFantasy Life I, players may find that leveling their crafting lives takes a lot longer due to it requiring the player to craft things that they may not have any use for. Therefore, one of the best and best things for the player to purchase from crafting Skill Boards, such as the Blacksmith, is EXP Earned Plus.
As the name of the skills suggests, the player canincrease the percentage of experienceearned when completing activities related to the Blacksmith life. This way, the player not only levels up faster, but can also then focus on other skills.
7Craft Time Bonus
Players Have More Time To Craft
When crafting items as a Blacksmith, players must play the Blacksmith mini-game, where they must complete various activities in a certain amount of time to successfully forge whatever they were crafting. Depending onthe level of the item being crafted, this can take a lot longer.
With the Craft Time Bonus skill from the Blacksmith Skill Board, a player is able to increase the amount of time they have to complete the mini-game. Like many of the other skills on this skill board, players can purchase the Craft Time Bonus multiple times, with higher percentages the further they go.
6The Art Of Blacksmithing
Complete Power Actions Much Faster
Players are able to make better quality weapons and tools if they complete the Blacksmithing mini-game with no mistakes and as fast as possible. There are multiple skills on the Blacksmith Skill Board that players can use to quicken how they complete various Power Actions.
These are moments where the player may need to tap the button quickly or hold. It can take a lot of time to complete these actions, and therefore, skills like The Art of Blacksmithing increase the speed at which the players complete these Power Actions by 20%. However, they must first reach Hero Rank.
5Tap/Hold Master
A Smaller Boost To Power Actions
Alternatively, there are two skills with the same purpose that players can also get, which increase the speed at which the player completes power actions. Both Tap Master and Hold Master share a similar purpose to The Art of Blacksmithing, but don’t require the player to reach Hero Rank.
This allows players to give a small boost to the speed of their actions inFantasy Life I: The Girl Who Steals Time, though it does require the player topurchase multiple different skillsinstead of just one. However, every little helps.
4One-Star Auto Smithing
Skip The Crafting Mini-Game
Although the Blacksmith mini-game is quite fun, those that are doing multiple crafting lives at once inFantasy Lifemay find the game quite repetitive, those that with to spend less time crafting are likely to enjoy skills such as 1-Star Auto Smithing, which allows the player to automatically craft one-star recipes without going through the mini-game.
A player inFantasy Life Idoesn’t need to stop there, as progressing further north on the Skill Board will also allow the player to unlock Auto Smithing for higher-ranked recipes to allow players to spend less time in this mini-game.
3Weaponsmithing
Improves Smithing Metal Weapons And Tools
As discussed previously, the main reason for the Blacksmith life inFantasy Life Iis so the player can forge weapons and tools that are needed for the other lives. While players can naturally level up this skill, which will eventuallymake stronger tools and weapons, players can give themselves an extra boost with Weaponsmithing.
Although this does require players to not only reach the bottom of the Skill Board, and requires an Apprentice rank, Weaponsmithing is essential for leveling every other life due to it allowing the player to make these stronger tools that can level the other lives quickly.
2Smithing Plus
Increase Base Smithing Power
Some of the best skills for the Blacksmith life are also some of the most simple. While players can forge a new hammer for themselves to better improve the quality of their smithing, players can improve the base power of their Blacksmithing skill by purchasing Smithing Plus on the Skill Board.
As another skill where the player can purchase multiple of the same skill, players should work their way east on the Skill Board to purchase Smithing Plus every couple of levels, so that they aren’t just relying on the power of their hammer.
1Heavy Strike
Automatically Complete Three Actions
Like all lives inFantasy Life I, players can eventually unlock a Special Skill, which will greatly benefit them. While for combat or gathering lives, this Special Skill does a large amount of damage, this cannot be the case for the crafting lives. Instead, players can unlock Heavy Strike for the Blacksmith life.
Once unlocked, players will gain charge for their Special Skill while crafting. Once a certain number of actions have been completed, the player will then be able to activate Heavy Strike, which will automatically complete three of the actions, so the player doesn’t need to do them. Theother crafting livesalso have a skill similar to this.
