There’s a reason Anakin Skywalker is the Chosen One, and for players who usehis best Star CardsinBattlefront 2, it couldn’t be more obvious as to why. Anakin Skywalker is more powerful than one could possibly imagine, and this ultimate Jedi Knight (not Master) turned Sith has a great selection of Star Cards to choose from for players who want to create theultimate fighter against Sith, blaster villains, and Separatist units.
Anakin Skywalker’s brute force and abilities with the Force itself make him a cunning warrior and a good friend, one that players will need to learn if they are to create the best Anakin Skywalker build inBattlefront 2, aided further by his vast selection ofpowerful Star Cards.

Heroic Might can be charged to have a larger radius and force all enemies inside to fall over and take damage, but sometimes the radius isn’t as good as players want. With Control the Force, the base radius of Heroic Might isincreased to a maximumof 5, leaving room for a large area for Anakin to use the Force and topple his enemies. While somewhat useless in duels, this becomes great in game modes like Supremacy, where enemies are aplenty, allowing Anakin to make a charge for his Clone Trooper allies.
Anakin’s Force Pull ability, Pull Dominance, is great for dealing withpesky characters with blasters. Whether it’s Palpatine or Captain Phasma, Anakin can pull them towards him and slash them into ribbons before they can dodge away – but what if they are too far away, or what if Boba Fett is a flying menace with his jetpack? Luckily, Attraction will increase the range of Anakin’s Pull Dominance ability, ensuring that nobody can escape his heroic Force Pull to bring them into the jaws of his attacks.
Pull Dominance is great for bringing enemies towards Anakin by pulling even the most defensive ofblaster heroesout of their safety nets and into Anakin’s lightsaber swings. With All of Them, Pull Dominance will deal 50 more damage if Anakin manages to snag a few enemies with the same ability, meaning that’s a 50+ damage boost for Anakin’s best ability if 2 enemies (or more) are captured, leaving them weak and vulnerable for a follow-up lightsbaer lunge and swing, but the fact it needs a few enemies means this ability is only really going to shine in Supremacy where there are multiple Battle Droids.

Heroic Might is a decent ability for Anakin that can be charged up to deal more damage with a greater radius of effect that can knock enemies down to the ground, and Raw Strength will further increase the damage dealt by this ability. The damage bonus is pretty nice, and goes to show why Anakin was nerfed in the first place. With Raw Strength, players can get a quick charge of damage off against the hordes of Battle Droids or in a 1v1, provided the opponent hasn’t dodged or blocked the attack.

With Passionate Strike acting as Anakin’s offense ability that will see him break an enemy’s guard by using a heavy attack through their block, it might benefit players to keep the pressure on enemies that won’t stop trying to parry or block their attacks by using the Pressure Star Card, which will always keep the pressure on. Pressure increases the final hit damage of Passionate Strike, which is always unblockable, and requires players to try and dodge out of the way, making for a great Star Card specific to dueling other lightsaber characters.

Passionate Strike is one of Anakin’s best abilities, as the final hit of Passionate Strike will cut through the enemy’s defenses, even if they are blocking. With that in mind, players might want to try out Fierce Fighter because it means that they can use Passionate Strike quicker as the cooldown will be reduced, which gives players an opportunity to constantly use Passionate Strike to stop their opponents from blocking by opening them up to a heavy attack that cannot be countered.

Steamroll is a great Star Card for players who intend to stay alive as Anakin Skywalker, as it will increase Anakin’s stamina based on the damage that Anakin deals to enemy troopers and villains. For every trooper kill and every 200 damage to a Dark Side Hero, Anakin’s stamina increases by 2%, to a maximum of 40%. This is a huge increase in stamina that will benefit the most patient of players who intend to fight for a long time, pairing perfectly with Massive Strikes to counter the loss of stamina in the first place with each lightsaber swing. If players intend to dominate the battlefront, then Steamroll might be the Star Card they are looking for to provide Anakin with an aggressive demand for kills, and the patience to block and parry attacks.
The best strategy for Anakin is to ignoreObi-Wan’s plea about how the strongest defenseis a swift and decisive offense, and instead, rely solely on rage and aggression. As such, Massive Strikes might benefit players, especially in duels, as it will provide Anakin’s lightsaber with bonus damage of up to 20 damage per swing. However, this does come at an increased stamina cost, but it’s nothing too drastic, and just means players have to be more careful and precise when they decide to land a few blows with their laser sword.

More health is always a good idea when it comes to playing as a hero, especially a lightsaber-wielder like Anakin Skywalker, who will constantly be on the frontlines during duels and against Battle Droids. While an extra 100 health might not seem like a sizable chunk, it will make Anakin absorb more damage thanks to his already generous health pool, and that extra health might be the difference between an extra lightsaber swing and certain death, allowing Anakin to heal back what was lost and overwhelm his enemies.
